NOTE: Selecting a new feature level without entering a new
Software License Key will render the unit nonfunctional. If this happens, rerun the License Editor
and select the correct feature level for the Software
License Key installed.
NOTE: Installers should make note of any upgrades or repairs
performed or new equipment installed in the unit on
the Service Record and attach it to the inside of the
case. New or replacement Service Records are
available from your dealer or from Sensormatic (part
no. 2402-1587-01 A).

FEATURE UPGRADE
Installation Instructions
To obtain the Software License Key, complete the Software
License Registration Form (part no. 8200-0012-00 A) and fax
it to the number indicated on the form. The information on
the form must be complete and accurate or else the key could
be delayed or wrong. Some of the information is obtained
from the Intellex that will be upgraded:
Obtain the Intellex information:
1.
From the main Intellex screen, click on Utility, then click
on About Intellex. The software Version must be 2.10.xx.
Click on System. After a few seconds a window will
display with the MAC Address. Record the 12-digit MAC
Address onto the Software License Registration Form.
Click on OK and Close to return to the main screen.
NOTE: If the Version is not 2.10.xx, you cannot use this
procedure to upgrade the software. Contact your local
Sensormatic representative.

Intellex 2.1 limits access to the Live Remote capability (when
used with Network Client 2.0) through a combination of
feature level selection and Software License Key. It is possible
to upgrade an Intellex 2.1 system at the Base feature level to
the Live Display feature level by entering a new Software
License Key and selecting the new feature level in the License
Editor.

2.
Record the Intellex serial number onto the Software
License Registration Form. The Intellex serial number can
be found on the product label on the bottom of the Intellex,
or, on newer units, on a label inside the door covering the
floppy drive.
3.
Record the rest of the required information on the Software
License Registration Form. The product code for this
upgrade is RDVUPG21LA. The Sensormatic Sales Order
is obtained from Customer Service when you place the
order for this upgrade.
4.
Fax the completed Software License Registration Form to
the number indicated in the form.
5.
When you receive the form back from Sensormatic, the
new Software License Key will be recorded on it.
Enter the new License Key and Feature Level:
NOTE: Exiting to the system is a protected feature. You must
have the EXIT TO SYSTEM privilege to access it (see
Security Setup in the Intellex Installation Instructions).
6.
From the main screen click on Utility, then Exit.
A confirmation screen will ask “Do you wish to quit the
program?” Click on Yes.
7.
Enter the Exit PIN code on the keypad and click on OK.
8.
From the Windows Desktop, double click on the License
Editor icon. The License Editor window will be displayed.
9.
Verify that the MAC Address displayed in the License
Editor window is the same as the one recorded on the
Software License Registration Form. If it is not the same,
click on Cancel and go to step 14. Then contact your
Sensormatic representative.
NOTE: The MAC Address is 12 digits long and consists of
numbers from 0 to 9 and letters from a to f. Each Intellex
unit has a unique MAC Address. If only 11 digits are
visible in the MAC Address window, move the mouse
cursor into the window and click. Then hold the left
mouse button down and slide the cursor left and right
to view all 12 characters.

10. In the Feature Level window, click on the arrow button
and select the Live Display feature.
11. Record the License Key information that is displayed in
the four windows. You will need this to restore the system
to the current state.
12. Starting in the left window, click in each of the four
windows for the License Key and backspace to remove
the current value. Then type in the Software License Key
that is written on the Software License Registration Form.
NOTE: The license key consists of 16 characters consisting of
the numbers 0-9 and letters a-f. Type in the letters as
lower case (not CAPITALS). There are no spaces,
dashes, or punctuation marks.
13. Verify the information is entered correctly and click on
OK.
14. Double-click on the Intellex icon to start the Intellex
software.
NOTE: If Intellex does not run, there must be an error in the
license key. Repeat step 8, then enter the original
license key and select the original feature level, then
perform steps 12 and 13. Contact your Sensormatic
representative.
Your Intellex is now upgraded to Live Remote Display.

Mise à niveau d’Intellex 2.1 à 2.1L
L’unité Intellex 2.1 limite l’accès à la fonction de vidéo en direct
(en cas d’utilisation de Network Client 2.0) par la sélection
du niveau de fonctionnalité et la mise en œuvre d’une clé de
protection logicielle. Il est possible de migrer d’un système
Intellex 2.1 doté du niveau de fonctionnalité de base vers le
niveau d’affichage en direct en entrant une nouvelle clé de
protection et en sélectionnant le niveau de fonctionnalité
approprié dans l’Éditeur de licence.
REMARQUE : Les installateurs doivent consigner toute mise
à niveau, réparation ou installation de nouvel
équipement dans l’unité sur la Fiche de maintenance
et ranger celle-ci à l’intérieur du boîtier. Vous pouvez
vous procurer des Fiches de maintenance
supplémentaires auprès de votre distributeur ou de
Sensormatic (n° de pièce 2402-1587-01 A).

Instructions d’installation
Pour obtenir une clé de protection logicielle, veuillez compléter
le formulaire de demande ad hoc (n° de pièce 8200-0012-04 A)
et le faxer au numéro indiqué. Les informations
communiquées dans ce formulaire doivent être complètes et
précises, sans quoi la clé risquerait d’être mal configurée ou
son envoi retardé. Certaines informations se rapportent à
l’unité Intellex mise à niveau :
Complétez les informations relatives à l’unité Intellex :
1.
Dans l’écran Intellex principal, cliquez sur Utilitaire, puis
sur À propos d’Intellex. Le numéro de version du logiciel doit être 2.10.xx. Cliquez sur Système. Au bout de
quelques secondes, une fenêtre contenant l’adresse MAC
s’affiche. Recopiez l’adresse MAC de 12 caractères sur le
formulaire de demande. Cliquez sur OK et Fermer pour
revenir à l’écran principal.

REMARQUE : La sélection d’un nouveau niveau de
fonctionnalité sans définition d’une nouvelle clé de
protection rend l’unité inopérationnelle. Il convient dans
ce cas de réexécuter l’Éditeur de licence et de
sélectionner le niveau de fonctionnalité correspondant
à la clé de protection installée.

REMARQUE : Si le numéro de version n’est pas 2.10.xx, vous
ne pouvez appliquer cette procédure pour mettre le
logiciel à niveau. Contactez votre représentant
Sensormatic.
2.
Inscrivez le numéro de série de l’unité Intellex sur le
formulaire de demande. Celui-ci se trouve sur l’étiquette
apposée sous l’unité Intellex ou, sur les nouveaux modèles,
à l’intérieur du couvercle du lecteur de disquettes.
3.
Complétez les autres informations demandées sur le
formulaire. Le code produit de cette mise à niveau est
RDVUPG21LA. Le bordereau de vente Sensormatic vous
est envoyé par le Service clientèle lorsque vous
commandez la présente mise à niveau.
4.
Faxez le formulaire de demande au numéro indiqué.
5.
Sensormatic vous le renverra complété de la nouvelle clé
de protection logicielle.
Entrez la nouvelle clé de protection et le niveau de fonctionnalité :
REMARQUE : Revenir au système est une fonction protégée.
Vous devez disposer du privilège de SORTIE VERS
LE SYSTÈME pour y accéder (reportez-vous à la
section Réglage de la sécurité dans les Instructions
d’installation d’Intellex).
6.
Dans l’écran principal, cliquez sur Utilitaire, puis sur
Quitter. Un écran de confirmation s’affiche avec le message
«Souhaitez-vous quitter le programme ?». Cliquez sur Oui.
7.
Composez le code d’identification de sortie sur le pavé
numérique et cliquez sur OK.
8.
Sur le bureau de Windows, double-cliquez sur l’icône
Éditeur de licence. La fenêtre Éditeur de licence s’affiche.
9.
Assurez-vous que l’adresse MAC affichée dans la fenêtre
Éditeur de licence est identique à celle figurant sur le
formulaire de demande. Si tel n’est pas le cas, cliquez sur
Annuler et passez à l’étape 14. Contactez votre
représentant Sensormatic.

REMARQUE : L’adresse MAC comporte 12 caractères
constitués de chiffres compris entre 0 et 9 et de lettres
de a à f. Chaque unité Intellex possède une adresse
MAC unique. Si la fenêtre Adresse MAC n’affiche que
11 caractères, amenez le curseur de la souris dans la
fenêtre et cliquez. Ensuite, maintenez le bouton gauche
de la souris enfoncé tout en déplaçant le curseur de
gauche à droite pour visualiser les 12 caractères.
10. Dans la fenêtre Feature Level, cliquez sur le bouton fléché
et sélectionnez Live Display.
11. Prenez note des informations relatives à la clé de protection
affichées dans les quatre fenêtres. Vous en aurez besoin
pour rétablir le système dans son état actuel.
12. En commençant par la fenêtre de gauche, cliquez sur
chacune des fenêtres se rapportant à la clé de protection
et appuyez sur la touche Retour arrière pour effacer la
valeur existante. Ensuite, tapez le numéro de la clé de
protection logicielle figurant sur le formulaire de
demande.
REMARQUE : La clé de protection comporte 16 caractères
constitués de chiffres compris entre 0 et 9 et de lettres
de a à f . Utilisez des minuscules (pas de
MAJUSCULES). Ne tapez aucun espace, tiret ou signe
de ponctuation.
13. Vérifiez que les informations saisies sont correctes et
cliquez sur OK.
14. Double-cliquez sur l’icône Intellex pour démarrer le
logiciel Intellex.
REMARQUE : Si le logiciel Intellex ne s’exécute pas, c’est
probablement que vous avez commis une erreur en
tapant la clé de protection. Recommencez l’étape 8,
entrez la clé de protection et le niveau de fonctionnalité
d’origine, puis effectuez les étapes 12 et 13. Contactez
votre représentant Sensormatic.
La mise à niveau de votre unité Intellex vers l’affichage direct
à distance est à présent terminée.

Actualización de Intellex 2.1 a 2.1L
Intellex 2.1 limita el acceso a la característica de actualización
remota “Live Remote” (cuando se utiliza con Network Client
2.0) mediante una combinación de selección del nivel de
características y una clave de licencia de software. Un sistema
Intellex 2.1 con nivel funcional Básico se puede actualizar al
nivel de visualización en directo (“Live Display”)
introduciendo una nueva clave de licencia de software y
seleccionando el nuevo nivel funcional en el editor de licencias.
NOTA: La selección de un nuevo nivel funcional no
acompañado de la nueva clave de licencia de software
dejará la unidad inutilizable. Si esto ocurriese, vuelva
a ejecutar el editor de licencias y seleccione el nivel
funcional correcto correspondiente a la clave de licencia
de software instalada.
ACTUALIZACIÓN DE
INTELLEX 2.1 A 2.1L
Instrucciones de Instalación
Para obtener la clave de licencia de software debe rellenar un
formulario de registro de licencia de software (nº de pieza 82000012-05 A) y enviarlo al número de fax de Sensormatic indicado
en dicho formulario. La información que indique en el
formulario de registro deberá ser completa y exacta para evitar
la generación de una clave incorrecta o retrasos en su entrega.
Algunos de los datos se obtienen de la unidad Intellex que se
actualizará:

NOTA: Los responsables de efectuar la instalación deberán
anotar en el registro de mantenimiento (“Service
Record”) todos los trabajos de actualización,
reparación y nueva instalación realizados en la unidad.
El registro debe conservarse en el interior de la
carcasa. Si necesita obtener registros de
mantenimiento nuevos o reposiciones, acuda a su
distribuidor o directamente a Sensormatic (solicite el
nº de pieza 2402-1587-01 A).

Obtención de la información de Intellex:
1.
En la pantalla principal de Intellex, haga clic en Utilidad
y luego en Acerca de Intellex. La versión del software
debe ser 2.10.xx. Haga clic en Sistema. Al cabo de algunos
segundos aparecerá una ventana con la dirección MAC.
Anote la dirección MAC de 12 caracteres en el formulario
de registro de la licencia de software. Haga clic en Aceptar
y en Cerrar para cerrar esta pantalla y regresar a la pantalla
principal.
NOTA: Si la versión no es la 2.10.xx, no podrá utilizar este
procedimiento para actualizar el software. Consulte al
representante local de Sensormatic.
2.
Anote el número de serie de Intellex en el formulario de
registro de la licencia de software. El número de serie de
Intellex aparece en la etiqueta del producto adherida a la
parte inferior de la unidad o bien, en unidades recientes,
en la etiqueta pegada dentro de la portezuela de la
disquetera.
3.
Anote el resto de los datos requeridos en el formulario de
registro de licencia de software. El código de producto para
esta actualización es RDVUPG21LA. El pedido de venta de
Sensormatic se obtiene del Departamento de Atención al
Cliente de Sensormatic en el momento de solicitar esta actualización.
4.
Envíe el formulario de registro rellenado por fax al número
indicado en el formulario.
5.
Cuando reciba el formulario de respuesta de Sensormatic,
contendrá la nueva clave de licencia de software.
Introducción de la nueva clave de licencia y nivel funcional:
NOTA: La salida al sistema operativo es una función protegida.
Para acceder a ella, deberá disponer del permiso
SALIR AL SISTEMA (consulte Configuración de
seguridad en las Instrucciones de instalación de
Intellex).
6.
Desde la pantalla principal de Intellex, haga clic en Utilidad y luego en Salir. Aparece una pantalla de confirmación preguntando si desea salir del programa. Haga clic
en Sí.

7.
Introduzca el código PIN de salida en el teclado numérico y haga clic en Aceptar.
8.
En el escritorio de Windows, haga doble clic en el icono
Editor de licencias. Aparece la ventana del editor de
licencias.
9.
Compruebe si la dirección MAC visualizada en la ventana
del editor de licencias coincide con la anotada en el
formulario de registro de licencia de software. Si no
coincide, haga clic en Cancelar y continúe con el paso 14.
A continuación, consulte a su representante de
Sensormatic.
NOTA: La dirección MAC consta de 12 dígitos alfanuméricos,
que pueden ser las cifras 0 a 9 y las letras “a” a la “f”.
Cada unidad Intellex tiene una dirección MAC única.
Si la ventana de direcciones MAC sólo contiene once
dígitos, sitúe el puntero sobre la ventana y haga clic.
A continuación, y manteniendo presionado el botón
del mouse, deslice el puntero a la izquierda y a la derecha para ver los 12 caracteres.
10. En la ventana Nivel funcional, haga clic en el botón de
flecha y seleccione la característica Live Display (Visualización en directo).
11. Anote la información de clave de licencia que aparezca
en las cuatro ventanas. La necesitará para restaurar
posteriormente el sistema a su estado actual.
12. Comenzando por la ventana izquierda, haga clic en cada
una de las cuatro ventanas correspondientes a la clave de
licencia y utilice la tecla RETROCESO para borrar el valor actual. A continuación, escriba la clave de licencia de
software que aparece en el formulario de registro.
NOTA: La clave de licencia consta de 16 caracteres (las cifras
0 a 9 y las letras a a f). Escriba las letras en minúsculas
(nunca en MAYÚSCULAS). No puede haber espacios,
guiones ni signos de puntuación.
13. Compruebe si la información introducida es correcta y
haga clic en OK (Aceptar).
14. Haga doble clic en el icono Intellex para iniciar el software Intellex.

NOTA: Si Intellex no se ejecuta, debe haber un error en la
clave de licencia. Repita el paso 8, introduzca la clave
de licencia original y seleccione el nivel funcional

Intellex 2.1 schränkt den Zugriff auf die Live Remote-Funktionalität (wenn sie zusammen mit Network Client 2.0 verwendet wird), abhängig von dem gewählten Funktionsumfang und dem Softwarelizenzierungsschlüssel, ein. Ermitteln der Intellex-Informationen

Klicken Sie im Intellex-Hauptbildschirm auf Dienste und
dann auf Über Intellex. Die Software-Version muß 2.10.xx
lauten. Klicken Sie auf System. Nach ein paar Sekunden
wird ein Fenster mit der MAC-Adresse angezeigt. Notieren Sie die 12-stellige MAC-Adresse im Registrierungsformular für die Softwarelizenz. Klicken Sie auf OK und
dann auf Beenden, um zum Hauptbildschirm zurückzukehren.
ANMERKUNG: Falls die Version nicht 2.10.xx lautet, können
Sie die Software nicht auf diese Weise aktualisieren.
Setzen Sie sich in diesem Fall mit ihrem lokalen
Sensormatic-Repräsentanten in Verbindung.

Notieren Sie die Intellex-Seriennummer im Registrierungsformular für die Softwarelizenz. Die Intellex-Seriennummer
befindet sich auf dem Produktaufkleber auf der Unterseite

Tragen Sie die weiteren erforderlichen Informationen in
das Registrierungsformular für die Softwarelizenz ein. Der
Produktcode für diese Aktualisierung lautet
RDVUPG21LA. Die Sensormatic-Auftragsnummer
erhalten Sie vom Kundendienst bei Erteilung des Auftrags.
4.
Faxen Sie das ausgefüllte Registrierungsformular für die
Softwarelizenz an die auf dem Formular angegebene
Nummer.
5.
Sensormatic schickt Ihnen das Formular mit dem neuen
Softwarelizenzierungsschlüssel zurück.
Eingeben des neuen Lizenzierungsschlüssels und des
Funktionsumfangs
ANMERKUNG: Das Wechseln zurück zum System ist eine
geschützte Funktion. Für den Zugriff brauchen Sie das
Recht ZURÜCK ZUM SYSTEM (siehe Eingeben der
Sicherheit in der Intellex-Installationsanleitung).
6.
Klicken Sie im Hauptbildschirm auf Dienste und dann
auf Beenden. Im eingeblendeten Bildschirm wird
folgende Frage angezeigt: “Wollen Sie das Programm
beenden?” Klicken Sie auf Ja.

Geben Sie den PIN-Code zum Beenden ein und klicken
Sie OK.
8.
Doppelklicken Sie auf dem Windows-Desktop auf das
Intellex-Symbol License Editor. Das Fenster License
Editor wird angezeigt.
9.
Überprüfen Sie, ob die im Fenster License Editor
angezeigte
MAC-Adresse
mit
der
im
Registrierungsformular für die Softwarelizenz
angegebenen Adresse übereinstimmt. Falls die Adressen
nicht übereinstimmen, klicken Sie auf Abbrechen und
gehen Sie zu Schritt 14. Setzen Sie sich dann mit Ihrem
Sensormatic-Repräsentanten in Verbindung.
ANMERKUNG: Die MAC-Adresse ist 12 Zeichen lang und
setzt sich aus Ziffern von 0 bis 9 und Buchstaben von
a bis f zusammen und ist für jedes Intellex-Gerät
eindeutig. Falls im Fenster MAC Address nur 11
Zeichen angezeigt werden, bewegen Sie den
Mauszeiger auf das Fenster und klicken Sie
anschließend. Halten Sie die linke Maustaste gedrückt
und bewegen Sie den Mauszeiger von links nach
rechts, um alle 12 Zeichen anzuzeigen.
10. Klicken Sie im Fenster Feature Level auf die Pfeil-Schaltfläche und wählen Sie Live Display.
11. Notieren Sie die in den vier Fenstern angezeigten Daten
für den Lizenzierungsschlüssel. Diese Daten benötigen Sie,
um das System wiederherstellen zu können.
12. Beginnen Sie im linken Fenster. Klicken Sie der Reihe nach
in jedes der vier Fenster für den Lizenzierungsschlüssel
und drücken Sie die Rücktaste, um den aktuellen Wert zu
entfernen. Geben Sie dann den im Registrierungsformular
für die Softwarelizenz aufgeführten Lizenzierungsschlüssel ein.
ANMERKUNG: Der Lizenzierungsschlüssel besteht aus 16
Zeichen, die sich aus den Ziffern 0-9 und den Buchstaben a-f zusammensetzt. Geben Sie die Buchstaben in Kleinbuchstaben ein (GROSSBUCHSTABEN
sind NICHT zulässig). Es sind keine Leerstellen, Gedankenstriche oder Interpunktionszeichen erlaubt.
13. Überprüfen Sie, ob die Informationen korrekt eingegeben
wurden, und klicken Sie auf OK.
14. Doppelklicken Sie auf das Symbol Intellex, um die
Intellex-Software zu starten.
ANMERKUNG: Falls die Intellex-Software nicht startet, ist der
Lizenzierungsschlüssel wahrscheinlich nicht richtig
eingegeben. Wiederholen Sie Schritt 8 und geben Sie
den Originallizenzierungsschlüssel ein. Wählen Sie
zudem den Originalfunktionsumfang. Führen Sie dann
die Schritte 12 und 13 durch. Setzen Sie sich mit Ihrem
Sensormatic-Repräsentanten in Verbindung.
Ihr Intellex-Gerät ist jetzt für die Live Remote-Anzeige
aktualisiert.
