Biographie
Maciej Lisicki est né en 1963. Il a reçu une formation d'ingénieur et est diplômé de l'Université
Technique de Gdansk en 1987 dans le domaine de la construction civile. Il est également
titulaire d'un diplôme d'Histoire, à l'Université de Gdansk.
Une fois diplômé, Lisicki débute un travail au sein de l'agence municipale du logement social de
Gdansk. Trois ans plus tard, en 1990, il exerce auprès de l’association académique du
Logement (Academic Housing Association), et en devient le président en 1997. Dans le cadre
de ses fonctions de président, Lisicki réalise des investissements dans le domaine du logement
avec succès, en rénovant une zone d'habitat dégradée. Il a également été le premier à mettre
en place un système de suivi et d'évaluation en matière de logement.
Pendant 17 ans, Lisicki a été un expert des problématiques de logement et d'immobilier pour le
Tribunal du District de Gdansk.
Maciej Lisicki a commencé à travailler auprès de la ville de Gdansk en 1998, quand il est
devenu membre du Conseil municipal et vice-président du Conseil. Conseiller municipal, puis
vice-président par la suite, il a représenté la ville de Gdansk à l'Union des villes baltiques
(UVB). C’est en 2007 qu’il est élu maire-adjoint de la ville de Gdansk, en charge du logement
et des transports.

Biography
Maciej Lisicki was born in 1963. He was educated as an engineer and graduated from the
Technical University of Gdansk in 1987 with an engineering degree in Civil Construction. He
also took a degree in history at the University of Gdansk.
When he graduated from the Technical University of Gdansk in 1987, Lisicki started to work for
Gdańsk Municipal Housing Company. Three years later, in 1990, he took up work for the
Academic Housing Association and in 1997 became the President of the Association. As the
Association’s President, Lisicki pioneered in carrying out a successful housing investment
developed on an area previously occupied by substandard public (municipal) housing. He was
also the first to introduce local monitoring of the housing development.
For 17 years Lisicki was a legal expert in residential and business housing rents for the District
Court in Gdańsk.
Maciej Lisicki started his work for the City of Gdańsk in 1998 when he became a member of
the Gdańsk City Council and was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Council. As a Councilor,
and a Vice-Mayor later on, he was representing the City of Gdansk in the Union of Baltic Cities.
Lisicki was appointed Vice-Mayor of the City of Gdansk for Housing and Public Utilities Policy on
8 January 2007. His responsibilities include: development of construction industry,
administration of the municipal housing stock, construction of social housing, development of
the municipal infrastructure services, water-sewage management policy, heating and drainage
policy, improvement of public transportation system, creating the price list for public services.
