resulting in increasing adhesion and thus
pain when hair and stratum corneum are
removed with the tape.
Skin is not flat, but has hills and valleys.
Traditional acrylate tapes require high
adhesive strength because they are slow to
conform to the natural profile of the skin,
only adhering at the highest points.
