Peggy and family. So sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad. May God
give each of you strength at this time of need.

There are people in our lives you can never imagine them not being there
anymore; Mr. Cook is one such person. As a child, I always knew he would
be at the farm or in his yard or in his garden. On the many trips past, Daddy
didn't just wave and drive on, but slowed down enough for a few words.
Many times, though, we stopped and turned the truck off for MORE than a
FEW words. As an adult, I always sought him out at church when I was
visiting, just to say "hello" and catch up a little. He sincerely wanted to know
what was going on with everyone in the family, but most of the time he
already knew. Mr. Cook will be deeply missed by me and the children, but
we are abundantly blessed with beautiful memories!

Peggy, Jeff and Will, and all of Charles' Family,
We wish you all our deepest sympathy, with all the Lord's Blessings. We
grieve with you all knowing how close you have been to him, who thru all
accounts, was a wonderful husband, dad, grandfather and great-grandfather.
We know you will miss him greatly and please know that you can call on us
for support at any time.
Coming from a Dutch Reformed Church background and being a Deacon and
an Elder in that church, having him be called the "Mayor of Dutchtown" was
nice to read.
We wish we could be with you on Monday and Tuesday, but please know
that we are with you in spirit and in the company of all the Saints of the
Church who have gone before us all.

Nous vous souhaitons à tous nos plus sincères condoléances, avec toutes les
bénédictions du Seigneur. Nous pleurons avec vous tous en sachant à quel
point vous avez été pour lui, Herman était un mari merveilleux, papa,
grand-père et arrière grand-père. Nous savons que vous lui manquera
beaucoup et s''''il vous plaît sachez que vous pouvez faire appel à nous pour le
soutien à tout moment. mais sachez que nous sommes avec vous en esprit et
en compagnie de tous les saints de l''''Église qui sont passés avant nous tous.
