The third international festival of design, Design PARADE, organized by the villa Noailles, has
just been completed.
The six exhibits, which were inaugurated on this occasion, will remain open until September
21st, 2008.

Sébastien Cordoléani, designer, 2007 winner - Barcelona
Pierre Doze, art critic - Paris
David Dubois, designer - Paris
Franck Fontana, designer, 2007 winner – Barcelona
Ineke Hans, designer – Arnhem (Netherlands)
Alice Morgaine, Director of La Verrière Hermès - Brussels
Michel Roset, Managing Director of Cinna and Ligne Roset - Lyon
Jerszy Seymour, designer - Berlin
has chosen to award two prizes.
•!The Gran d Pr ix w as a warde d to Mi che l Ch arlot (Switzerland)
He lives and works in Switzerland, where he is student at ECAL (Lausanne) since 2005.
The Grand Prix further includes:
- one year of research work at the Manufacture nationale de Sèvres (Porcelain)
- the winner will also participate in a Vitra Workshop in Boisbuchet (Charente)
- the book Phaidon Design Classic (3 volumes), published by Phaidon
- a stand in the next professional show, now! design à vivre, inside MAISON & OBJET, in january
2009
- the exhibit of personal works at the Villa Noailles in 2009

He lives and works in Eindhoven, Netherlands. He is qualified from ENSAAMA Olivier de
Serres, 2004, Paris (BTS in Product Design), from Birgmingham Institute of Art and Design,
2005, UK (BA in Industrial Design) and from Design Academy Eindhoven, 2007, Netherlands
(MA in Design).
Awarded by the jury, he will receive 10.000 euros and the book & Fork, published by Phaidon.

She lives and works in Paris. She is graduated from ENSCI Les Ateliers, (2007, Paris, France),
from ESSEC (1998, Paris, France) and from Science-Po, with a major in Cultural Management
(2001, Paris, France).
All participants will also receive the book Minimum by Phaïdon and a full year’s subscription to
the Intramuros magazine, our festival partner.
The fourth festival will take place from July 3rd to 5th, 2008.
An exhibit of Jerszy Seymour’s work will be presented.

Design PARADE 03 features six exhibits, opened to the public till September 21, 2007:
• in the original Villa: project exhibits of young competing designers
• in the pool area, on the squash court, in the gym room: Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, étapes
(stages)
• in the pink boudoir: New Shapes - Pierre Charpin in Sèvres
• in the "art news" gallery: Series, the joint exhibit of Sébastien Cordoléani and Franck
Fontana, 2007 Grand Prix winners
• in the vaulted-ceiling rooms: Document 5, Modern Gardens, exhibit of gardens from the
interwar period and the history of the Villa Noailles
• in the Tour des Templiers: Superarchitettura 66 reloaded, the revival of a major critical
installation from 1966 : the first exhibit of Superstudio and Archizoom, radical Italian groups
