8,14. Bien que nous soyons tenus responsables de
notre vie, nous sommes aussi tenus responsables de
la vie de ceux et celles qui nous entourent. Il importe
que nous grandissions, que nous développions et partagions nos dons, mais il est tout aussi important de
transmettre ces leçons à nos enfants et d’encourager
les autres à faire de même.
La famille de Edouard Hamonic remerci toute les personnes qui ont témoigné leur sympathies lors du
décès de Edouard. Merci à L'abbé Dominic La Fleur,
Germaine et la chorale, l'organiste Monique pour la
belle célébration eucharistique. Merci aussi aux dames

Not only are we responsible for our own lives,
but we
are responsible for the lives of those around us. Not
only is it important that we grow, nurture and share
our gifts, but we should teach our children this same
lesson and encourage others to do the same.
Pilgrimage: Again this year, we are hoping to set up
a children's table with games ...face painting, balloons... for the children during lunch time…. We need
someone to take charge of this activity so as to
ensure the children have some fun. If you can
and are willing to help out please let us know.
Summer Student Position available at the parish for
a student between 15-30 years of age. For 8 weeks

Edouard Hamonic`s family would like to thank everyone for
their support and condolences at the loss of Edouard.

Fruits / Derived from devout attendance at holy mass
What dost thou now think of holy Mass, O Christian? Can it be supposed that in the whole world there is nothing other good
work whereby so many graces and fruits are placed within our reach? It is no longer possible to question the truth of the words
of Father Sanchez quoted: “If Christians only knew how to profit by holy Mass, they might acquire greater riches than are to be
found in all the things God has created.” We have indeed a precious storehouse in the Mass: Happy he who can earn treasures so great at the cost of so little labor! Who would willingly miss Mass? Who would not delight in hearing it? Let us resolve
never to lose an opportunity of hearing Mass, provided the duties of our state of life do not prevent us form doing so. To omit
hearing Mass daily merely from carelessness or indolence would be a proof that we were either ignorant of, or indifferent to, the
divine treasures it contains. God grant that those who read this book (The Incredible Catholic Mass, An Explanation of the Mass
by Fr. Martin von Cochen) may in future appreciate more fully this pearl of great price, value it more highly, seek it more diligently.

Cochem, brother Minor Capuchin, whose French translation was made by A. Rugemer, O. S. C.

bien entendue nous rendrait plus riche que tout l’univers ensemble »? Si vous veniez à perdre en un seul jour soixante-dix-sept
écus, n'est-il pas vrai que vous vous frapperiez soixante-dix-sept fois la tête, au souvenir d'une si grande perte ? Combien plus
y a-t-il lieu de s'affliger de manquer la Sainte Messe une seule fois par paresse, par indifférence, par négligence ! Oh ! Quelle
folie, quel aveuglement, de faire si peu de cas de notre plus précieux trésor ! Puisse la lecture attentive de ces promesses vous
éclairer et vous inspirer une grande estime du Saint Sacrifice.

présentée dans un magnifique décor naturel. Les présentations de la pièce auront lieu le 4 et 5 juillet à 18h30 et le 10, 11 &
