Moderate activity
In metropolitan France, last week, the incidence rate of Chickenpox
seen in general practice was estimated at 32 cases per 100,000
inhabitants (95% CI [20 ; 44]).
Twelve regional clusters were reported, high in Haute-Normandie
(71 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, 95% CI [0 ; 142]), Limousin (70,
95% CI [0 ; 208]), Picardie (61, 95% CI [0 ; 249]), Ile-de-France (54,
95% CI [0 ; 110]), Nord-Pas-de-Calais (53, 95% CI [0 ; 108]),
Provence-Alpes-Côte-d'Azur (51, 95% CI [0 ; 108]) and FrancheComté (45, 95% CI [0 ; 119]) and moderate in Languedoc-Roussillon
(31, 95% CI [0 ; 67]), Auvergne (30, 95% CI [0 ; 78]), Pays-de-la-Loire
(28, 95% CI [0 ; 69]), Alsace (21, 95% CI [0 ; 63]) and Corse (21,
95% CI [0 ; 52]). *

Low activity
In metropolitan France, last week, the incidence rate of Acute
diarrhea seen in general practice was estimated at 80 cases per 100,000
inhabitants (95% CI [56 ; 104]), below the epidemic threshold
(111 cases per 100,000 inhabitants) [1].
At the regional level, the highest incidence rates were noted in:
Lorraine (157 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, 95% CI [0 ; 328]), Alsace
(141, 95% CI [32 ; 250]) and Provence-Alpes-Côte-d'Azur (106,
95% CI [0 ; 249]). *

Low activity
In metropolitan France, last week, the incidence rate of Influenza-like
illness seen in general practice was estimated at 8 cases per 100,000
inhabitants (95% CI [2 ; 14]), below the epidemic threshold (73 cases
per 100,000 inhabitants) [1].
At the regional level, the highest incidence rates were noted in: Alsace
(32 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, 95% CI [0 ; 85]), Nord-Pas-de-Calais
(24, 95% CI [0 ; 63]), Centre (14, 95% CI [0 ; 37]) and Ile-de-France
(14, 95% CI [0 ; 35]). *

of France including 559 involved in the clinical surveillance activity
(446 general practitioners and 113 pediatricians)
enabling the achievement of weekly newsletters.
This network is developped in cooperation between Inserm, Université Pierre
et Marie Curie (UPMC) and the Institut de Veille Sanitaire (InVS).
