Chapter exams and final exam ThechapterexamsaredesignedtoevaluateyourprogressinFrenchintheareasoflistening,reading,writing,speaking,and culturalknowledge.Theytestwillbecumulativeandtakeplaceduringourlastonlinesession. Class participation and preparation Beforeeachclassperiod,itisimportantthatyoustudythematerialassignedforthatday(vocabulary,structures,readings)and completetheassignedexercises. SpeakingFrenchregularlyisessentialforimprovingyourproficiency,andyoushouldcome toclasspreparedtospeakandusethevocabularyandstructuresfor theday.Moststudentsfeelnervousorshyspeakinga foreignlanguage;regularparticipationinclasswillhelpyoubecomemorecomfortablespeakingFrenchand willhelpyou progressasquicklyaspossibleinthelanguage.Donotworryaboutmakingmistakes–makingmistakesisanormalpartofthe learningprocess!We willfocusmoreonthemessageyouaretryingtocommunicatethanonanygrammaticalmistakesyou makewhiletalking.
