Students will explore the world of young-teen consumerism.
They will examine their personal buying habits, and analyze why
they purchase particular brands. Students work in small groups
to select and assess a popular teen product and create a video to
demonstrate the results of their groups'tests and present their
video to the class. Reading and writing skills are also developed
through activities such as reading product evaluation reports and
completing surveys. Final Task: Students work in groups to
evaluate popular teen products and present the results on
video. The TRB is organized into 8 to 10 "lessons". Each lesson is
broken
down
into
three
phases:
Pre-Activity,
Activity,
Post-Activity. The TRB contains methodology, language, content
and outcomes summary charts, and comprehensive lesson plans
