REVELLIN-FALCOZ, PRESIDENT OF L’ACADÉMIE DES TECHNOLOGIES MUSÉE DE L’AIR ET DE L’ESPACE ,PARIS / 28 FEBRUARY 2012 The Royal Aeronautical Society Lindbergh Lecture will be hosted by the Paris Branch of the Society in partnership with the Musée de l’Air et de l’Espace of Paris - Le Bourget. The event will refer to Charles Lindbergh who achieved world fame as a result of the flight in 1927, from New York’s Long Island to Paris Le Bourget a distance of 5,800 km in the single-seat, single-engine monoplane Spirit of St. Louis. In 1963 Lindbergh who was, at that time, a technical advisor for PAN AM then interested in business jets, visited Dassault in France. In 1964 PAN AM ordered 40 Dassault Mystère 20 business jets renamed FALCON and that was the start of the FALCON saga. THIS LECTURE IS KINDLY HOSTED BY: M.
