Finalité générale du projet
➢ Assurer l'approvisionnement en eau potable depuis un puits artésien, son acheminement jusqu'à la station
d'épuration, puis jusqu'au système central de distribution ;
➢ Assurer l'indépendance du système d'approvisionnement en eau afin de ne plus subir les conséquences
des dérèglements écologiques ;
➢ Préserver les habitants de la pollution des rivières et leur fournir une eau potable de qualité.
Activités du projet
➢ Construction de la canalisation « Ziemeli », reliée au puits artésien ;
➢ Installation d'un nouveau pipeline d'approvisionnement ;
➢ Forage et construction de la canalisation à environ 8 km de la ville ;
➢ Installation d'un nouveau système de forets communs et de pipelines parallèles afin d'acheminer l'eau
vers la station d'épuration ;
➢ Collecte de l'eau dans un réservoir souterrain avant son acheminement vers le système central de distribution.
Résultats du projet
Canalisation « Ziemeli » (YIT Corporation (Finland))
➢ Forage de 8 nouveaux trous et rénovation de 5 trous déjà existants - capacité de 33 000 m3/24 h ;
➢ Nouvelle station d'épuration d'une capacité de 30 000 m3/24 h ;
➢ 2 nouveaux réservoirs d'eaux d'une capacité de 8 000 m3 ;
➢ Rénovation de la station de pompage.
Rénovation du pipeline d'approvisionnement en eau
➢ Installation de 4.8 kms de nouveaux pipelines afin d'acheminer l'eau du puits artésien vers la station
d’épuration et rénovation de 11 kms de pipelines déjà existant ;
➢ Installation de 3 kms de nouveaux pipelines afin d'acheminer l'eau de la station d'épuration vers la
ville.

Aims of the project
➢ To insure drinking water supply from artesian wells to the cleaning station and further to the central system of water distribution ;
➢ To ensure the independence of the water system from the ecological condition of the river, as happened
in 1995 ;
➢ To raise the quality and the safety of drinking water.
Activities of the project
➢ Construction of the artesian well water scoop “ Ziemeli ” ;
➢ Installation of new water supply pipelines ;
➢ Drilling of new holes and equipment of water scoop “ Ziemeli ” about 8 km from the borders of the
city ;
➢ Installation of a common system of joined drills and two parallel pipes to supply water to the cleaning
station ;
➢ Collection of clean water into a clean water underground reservoir before water supply to the central
system of distribution.
Results of the project
Water Scoop “ Ziemeli ” (YIT Corporation (Finland))
➢ Drilled 8 new and equipped 5 existing holes with total capacity up to 33 thousands m3/24 h ;
➢ New cleaning station with capacity of 30 thousands m3/24 h ;
➢ 2 new clean water reservoirs equipped with 8 000 m3 capacity ;
➢ Renovation of the pumping station.
Water supply major pipe lines renovation (SIA “ Laterna ” (Latvia))
➢ Installation of 4,8km of new water pipeline with d-450 mm and renovation of 11 km of already
existing water pipeline with d-500 mm in order to supply raw water from water scoop “ Ziemelu ” to
cleaning station ;
➢ Installation of 3 km of new pipeline with d-500 mm in order to supply cleaned water from cleaning
station to the network of water supply of the city.
