RWY 23 et RWY 29 : Approches à vue interdites.
RWY 05 et RWY 11 :
- Clairance d’approche à vue délivrée sur demande du pilote ou sur proposition du
contrôle.
- Le contrôleur d’approche peut proposer un guidage radar pour acquisition des
conditions d’approche à vue.
- La demande d’approche à vue sera toujours confirmée par le pilote dès visuel sur
l’aérodrome.
- Les approches à vue sont autorisées sous réserve de respecter les conditions
suivantes, dictées par le souci d’éviter le survol des principales zones urbanisées :
RWY 05 :
- Pour les branches vent arrière Nord : respect d’une altitude de 3000 ft jusqu’au RDL
289° BMC (en cas d’activité de la R 247, obtenir les conditions de
survol ou de contournement auprès de l’ATC).
- Pour les branches vent arrière Sud : respect d’une altitude de 5000 ft jusqu’au RDL
147° BMC (ou RDL 167° BMC en cas d’activité vélivole à Saucats)
- Respect d’une distance minimum (3 NM BMC) d’alignement en finale avant le seuil
de piste.
RWY 11 :
- Pour les appareils en provenance de LIBRU ou VAGNA : maintien d’une trajectoire
au Nord du QDR 269° de BD et d’une altitude de 3000 ft jusqu’au RDL 334° BMC.
- Respect d’une distance minimum (3.5 NM BMC) d’alignement en finale avant le seuil
de piste.

INSTRUCTIONS, EXCEPT FOR SAFETY REQUIREMENT :
RWY 23 and RWY 29 : Visual approaches prohibited.
RWY 05 and RWY 11 :
- Visual approach clearance delivered on pilot’s request or ATC proposal.
- The approach controller can propose a radar guidance for acquisition of visual approach
conditions.
- The pilot will always confirm the request for visual approach as soon as he gets the
aerodrome in sight.
- Visual approaches are authorized subject to the following conditions, dictated in order
to avoid overflying urban areas :
RWY 05 :
- For North downwind legs : maintaining an altitude of 3000 ft till RDL 289° BMC.
(when R 247 active, contact ATC for flight conditions or diversion).
- For South downwind legs : maintaining an altitude of 5000 ft till RDL 147° BMC (or
RDL 167° BMC in case of glider activity at Saucats)
- Maintaining a minimum distance (3 NM BMC) in final approach before the runway
threshold.
RWY 11 :
- For ACFT from LIBRU or VAGNA : maintaining track in the North of QDR 269° BD
and an altitude of 3000 ft till RDL 334° BMC.
- Maintaining a minimum distance (3.5 NM BMC) in final approach before the runway
threshold.
