A transmission protection housing (pre-galvanised panels and
electro-zinc grille) is supplied as standard.
In a metal angle-bar frame, the casings are positioned in 4
different orientations (0°, 90°, 180°, 270°) each available in
two directions of rotation: clockwise and anti-clockwise
(see. § “Orientations – Direction of rotation” next page)
depending on which side of the casing the motor is
placed.
APPLICATION
These dual inlet centrifugal fans are equipped with impulse
impellers (forwards curved blades). They are designed to
transfer large flows at medium and low pressures, and can
be used to transport clean air at a maximum temperature of
+40°C.
DESCRIPTION
The casing is made of pre-galvanised sheet steel.
OPTIONS
Pre-galvanised steel impellers are statically and dynamically
balanced: class G6.3 in accordance with standard ISO 1940.

Depending on the application, the motors supplied as standard
have a 230/400V or 400/690V supply voltage. Degree of
protection IP55, Temperature class F.
The bearings are fitted with self-aligning ball-bearings with
eccentric ring shaft locking with a design working life of about

OF MOTORS
ABOUT ORIENTATIONS
For centrifugal fans, whether with single or
dual air inlet, the convention states that
orientations take the motor side (direct action)
or the transmission side as a reference.
If the impeller rotates in a clockwise direction
(or “to the right”) its direction will be RD; if it
rotates in and anti-clockwise direction its
direction will be LG.
- CONSTRUCTIONS
The position of the motor will depend on the space available for location of the fan. To designate the appropriate position, specify
the orientation (LG or RD) followed by the following motor position number:

INSPECTION HATCHES

These are used to allow cleaning of the fan and
of the internal walls of the casing. Included on
request at the four positions indicated in the
diagram below, they are fixed in place using
self-tapping screws.

Provided for the removal of condensation and of water used in
cleaning the equipment, it is made up of an M10 diam. insert
plugged with a bolt attached to the bottom part of the casing. If
necessary, a hose can extend this device to connect to
pipework.
For factory installation, the fan orientation must be specified

AIR INLET GRILLES
These are 2 half-grilles to be fitted using self-tapping screws directly onto
the sides of the casing.

RUN/STOP SWITCH
Accessory fitted pre-wired.

MOTOR COVER
Provides protection of the motor against rain and any other spays, it is
fixed directly on the transmission housing.
