Steve Winder is the Regional Leader of our Labour and Employment Group in our
Vancouver office. Steve practises in the areas of employment and administrative law
and civil litigation, with a focus on the area of employment litigation. He advises and
acts for clients on all aspects of employment law, including drafting employment
contracts, wrongful dismissal, and post-termination matters. He was also selected by
peers for inclusion in the 2014, 2015 and 2016 editions of The Best Lawyers in Canada
(Labour and Employment Law).​

Steve has appeared as counsel in the Provincial, Supreme Court and Court of Appeal
for British Columbia, and before the Human Rights Tribunal, Employment Standards
Tribunal and the Employment Insurance Commission.
Prior to joining BLG as an articling student in 1996, Steve was a law clerk for six
justices of the British Columbia Supreme Court in 1995 and 1996.
