with practical business experience and enjoys a satisfying and rewarding role in the company.
What attracted you to SWIFT?
The company offers a graduate program that offered me the chance to put my educational
skills into practice by working alongside experienced technical and business professionals.
SWIFT has an excellent reputation as an employer and I felt sure that I would get the “hands
on” experience I needed. I am delighted to say that I certainly made the right choice.
Since joining SWIFT how has your career progressed?
In the very early days I was provided with comprehensive introduction to the company which

Have you found fulfilment in your career choice?
Most definitely! I am now a member of the SWIFT Consulting team. I am involved in meeting
with our customers, I have had the chance to travel and expand my network of contacts
significantly. The atmosphere is great as there are always people who are willing to help me
learn and grow. I really feel like I am making a contribution that is appreciated and that is very
satisfying. I have also found that SWIFT is keen for people to have a Work-Life balance as the
company provides a wide range of facilities including a sport centre and there is also a crèche
for working parents. The ability to balance a busy work and personal life is very important to
us all and we all appreciate the fact that SWIFT recognises this is not just a benefit but a vital
element of being a responsible employer.
What would your advice be to graduates considering a role at SWIFT?
For me joining SWIFT has been a rewarding and enjoyable experience. Of course you have to
work hard and there is much to learn. In my role there is a need for quality and attention to
detail in all that I do. It’s a great discipline and when you see the results and have positive
feedback, it’s very worthwhile. Once you leave full time study, you realise that there is a world
of opportunity but there is also plenty of hard work! However, for me these 4 years have been
busy, exciting and tremendously fulfilling. I really enjoy working with my colleagues, everyone
has been very supportive. There are many challenges, I have learned the real meaning of
teamwork and in turn I aim to be as helpful to graduates as I know how much these early years
have helped give me a solid grounding for my career. I feel that my experience at SWIFT is an
excellent example to any graduate that this company really does offer the opportunity to build
upon academic qualifications and become a valuable member of the business community.
