Mauritius Examinations Syndicate CPE 2015 RESULTS & ADMISSION TO FORM I - 2016 REVIEW OF SCRIPTS Responsible parties who are not satisfied with the examination results of their ward may apply for a review of his/her scripts by filling the prescribed form available at the Commission for Education and Training, Rodrigues. The application form together with a copy of the result slip of the candidate should be submitted within the following period: RESULTS – SCHOOL CANDIDATES Les parents dont les enfants ont pris part aux examens du CPE en octobre 2015 sont priés de se rendre le 07 décembre 2015 entre 09:00 et 15:00 à l’école primaire que fréquentait leur enfant. Le « RESULT SLIP » leur sera remis de même qu’un document pour l’admission dans un collège. Ce document est : soit une lettre d’admission dans une école secondaire; soit une lettre explicative et une liste d’écoles secondaires s’il s’agit d’un cas de ‘NO SCHOOL’, c’est-à-dire un élève qui a réussi mais qui n’a pas obtenu une place dans un collège parce que les offres ne correspondaient pas aux demandes faites; soit une lettre explicative concernant l’admission dans une classe pré-professionnelle pour l’élève qui n’a pas réussi aux examens du CPE pour la deuxième année consécutive ou qui aura atteint l’âge de 13 ans au 01 janvier 2016. RESULTS – PRIVATE CANDIDATES Les candidats qui ont pris part aux examens du CPE en octobre 2015 comme “Private Candidate” ainsi que leurs parents sont informés que leur “RESULT SLIP” leur sera remis à la Commission for Education and Training, Rodrigues le 07 décembre 2015 de 08:00 à 15:45 sur presentation d’une pièce d’identité. Le “RESULT SLIP” de ceux et celles qui n’auront pas pu se présenter à la Commission for Education and Training leur sera expédié par voie postale le 08 décembre 2015. NO SCHOOL CASES Candidates who have passed the CPE but have not been allocated a seat in one of the schools requested, have been issued a “NO SCHOOL” Letter. Responsible parties are invited to seek admission for their ward as soon as possible in one of the Private Secondary Schools from the list provided to them. RESIT EXAMINATION A resit examination will be held on Monday 21 December 2015 at 09:00 hours for candidates who have passed in three subjects, including at least two core subjects (namely English, Mathematics or French) and require one subject to obtain an award of CPE. The examination will be organised for all subjects simultaneously and eligible candidates will be allowed a resit in only one subject. A letter will be issued to eligible candidates on the date of results. CORRECTION OF NAMES The Mauritius Examinations Syndicate should be informed in writing by 01 March 2016 at latest of any request for correction of names. Such a request should be accompanied by a copy of the Birth Certificate and the result slip of the candidate. A fee of Rs65 per entry will be charged. Please note that no correction can be effected after the deadline, in accordance with the CPE Regulations. REGISTRATION IN SECONDARY SCHOOLS Monday 14 December 2015 between 09:00 hours and 15:00 hours Responsible parties who have obtained an Admission Letter for their ward for the mainstream or prevocational stream of a Secondary School should call at the school for registration formalities and bring along the following: National Identity Card (original + 1 photocopy) Birth Certificate of the pupil (original + 1 photocopy) CPE 2015 Result Slip (original + 1 photocopy) Admission Letter 2 passport size photographs for free transport In case a Responsible party does not call at the school for registration purposes on Monday 14 December 2015, the seat will be allocated to the next deserving student. ADMISSION TO PREVOCATIONAL CLASSES Responsible parties who have received a letter of guidance for the admission of their ward to a prevocational class should collect the Letter of Admission at the pupil’s Primary School on Friday 08 January 2015 between 09:00 hours and noon. Registration for Admission to the secondary school for prevocational classes will be done on the same day, i.e. Friday 08 January 2016 between 09:00 hours and 15:00 hours. fa/mydoc/presscom/postercpe
