Abstract
The recourse to “RSS feeds” is relatively weak on the internet world, but it
could be very useful for an easy access to valuable sources of information
for medical professionals.
It can be used with a software-client called an "RSS reader", "feed reader",
or "aggregator". The software can be web-based, desktop-based, or
mobile-device-based. The RSS reader checks the user's subscribed feeds
regularly for new work, downloads any updates and provides a user
interface to monitor and read the feeds.
A good example of a possible usage of this tool is the subscription to the
table of contents of your favorite journal or to update a search previously
done under Medline.
A live demonstration will be done to illustrate the topic.
