L’évènement suscite une prise de conscience à
Marrakech. D’importants chantiers ont été lancés
pour s’accorder au programme de ce rassemblement
mondial : la commande de 30 bus électriques, la
construction d’un centre de tri des déchets et d’une
nouvelle station pour leur traitement, l’aménagement
d’espaces verts avec éclairage solaire, l’amélioration
de l’efficacité énergétique de certains établissements
publics. L’ouverture du Musée de la Civilisation
marocaine de l’Eau et encore l’aménagement de
la zone Bab Doukkala qui reliera le jardin Majorelle
à la Médina par une zone piétonne verdoyante
complètent cet ensemble de projets d’aménagement.
La COP22 accueille 197 parties, 15 000 participants
et 1 000 journalistes. Le site aménagé à Bab Ighli,
ancienne porte de la médina, comprend une Zone
Bleue, sous contrôle des Nations Unies et accessible
aux personnes accréditées, et une Zone Verte, gérée
par le Maroc.
The event raises awareness in Marrakech. Major
projects have been launched to be in line with this
global climate event: an order of 30 electric buses,
the construction of a sorting center and a new station
for waste processing, the development of green
spaces with solar lighting and the improvement of the
energy efficiency of some public institutions.
The opening of the Moroccan Water Civilization
Museum and the creation of a new pedestrian area
in Bab Doukkala, connecting Majorelle Garden to the
Medina, complete this set of development projects.
COP22 hosts 197 Parties, 15 000 participants
and 1 000 journalists. The layout of the conference
site “Bab Ighli”, located among the ramparts of the
Medina, is devided in two zones: a Blue Zone
administered by the United Nations and accessible
to those with accreditation and a Green Zone,
managed by Morocco.

2) Quelle a été votre inspiration et quel
regard portez-vous sur votre propre création ?
Elle s’inspire des grands jardins historiques de
Marrakech et des jardins agricoles traditionnels du
Maroc. Je souhaite que l’on ressente ici les mêmes
émotions que devant les bassins et les pavillons de
la Menara et de l’Agdal ; les oliveraies de l’oasis de la
vallée du Todra ; les palmeraies de la vallée du Ziz ; les
domaines agricoles structurés de façon géométrique
et traversés par les canaux d’irrigation (les seguias)
qui composent un patchwork de textures et de
couleurs ; le jardin andalou qui enserre les vergers
dans la fraicheur des patios.

My inspiration was the great historical gardens of
Marrakech and traditional Moroccan agricultural
landscapes. I would hope that we can feel the same
emotions we feel when admiring the Menara and
Agdal's olive groves, basins and pavilions; the oasis of
Todra Valley and the palm grove of Ziz valley; the
agricultural fields and their geometric layout,
crossed by open irrigation canals (Seguias) forming
