Student dormitory ROZNA DOLINA
The accommodation is reserved for students who applied for hospitality package from Saturday 7
July (arrival day) until Sunday 29 July (departure day). The accommodation is in twin room with
shared bathroom and kitchen with cable internet connection. You may be sharing a room either with
another student (of the same gender) of Ljubljana Summer School or a regular student (of the same
gender) of the University of Ljubljana. This is the regulation of Dormitory Policy. Because getting to
know new people is a valuable part of the Summer School experience, roommate wishes cannot be
requested.
CHECK-IN OPTIONS according to the residential order of Students dormitories (any other options are
not possible):

ARRIVAL on 7th and 8th July

Arrival outside office hours is possible. The key will be waiting for you at the
reception/security. It is necessary to sign the Dormitory agreement latest 24 hours after
arrival at check-in office from 12:00 to 18:00 (7 and 8 July) and from 8:00 to 14:00 (Monday
to Friday).


Summer School Team – please send arrival details again and latest until Monday, 2 July until

How to reach the Ljubljana Dormitory campus
From Ljubljana International Airport

Airport bus: to the main Ljubljana bus/train station costs 4,10 EUR
Roundabout shuttle: to the dormitory costs 8 EUR; send date and time of your arrival to
[email protected] latest 24 hours before arrival to Ljubljana
Airport shuttle: to the dormitory costs 9 EUR
Taxi: to the dormitory costs approx. 35 EUR.
From Venice, Vienna and other airports

Roundabout shuttle: price depends on the location of the airport and on the number of
passengers/shuttle. Send date and time of your arrival to [email protected] latest 24 hours
before arrival to Ljubljana.
From main Train/ Bus station
The Ljubljana central railway and bus station are located 20 minutes by foot from the dormitory
Rozna dolina. For city bus you will need bus card Urbana (coins/cash are not accepted). You will
receive City bus ticket upon registration at check-in. To reach the check-in office, take the bus
number 14 or 14B (direction Vrhovci/Bokalce) and follow the map (please find the map below).
Arriving by car
Please see destination map for arriving details. There are free parking places around the Dormitory
campus or in front of the check-in office.
Useful information:






It is necessary to sign the Dormitory agreement upon arrival or latest within 24 hours after
arrival. The agreement will be in Slovenian with English translation. Please keep the papers
until departure.
The bedding and pillows will be waiting for you in the room however you need to bring your
own towels, toilet paper and kitchenware. Room must be kept clean. Further information:

Each dormitory block offers cable internet. After checking in and signing the Dormitory’s
agreement you will receive the internet username and password. Further information:
instructions.
Each dormitory has a laundry room with a washing machine and a dryer.
Please make sure you bring your own health insurance policy papers with you.
Please note that we will send you the Transcript of Records only after we receive a positive
reply from the Dormitory management that your departure was done correctly and no
damage was done in your room.
