Déjà une année écoulée à la tête de l’un des plus prestigieux
établissements monégasques. Une année pleine et heureuse, riche de
rencontres, de projets et d’initiatives menés à bien grâce au concours
et à l’expertise des équipes qui, sur place, se dévouent sans relâche
pour faire de notre Maison une adresse d’excellence... Tout au long de
cette année 2015, il m’a été donné de vivre ici, au Métropole Monte-Carlo,
une passionnante expérience humaine et professionnelle. J’ai appris à
aimer cet établissement et toutes celles et tous ceux, qui, par la qualité de
leur travail, lui donnent cette âme si unique et si particulière. J’ai ô combien
apprécié l’accueil qui m’a été fait ici à Monaco. J’espère aussi avoir été un
bon ambassadeur de la Principauté en contribuant au rayonnement du
Métropole. Au terme de mon mandat en ces lieux magiques, qu’il me soit
permis de remercier l’ensemble des équipes associées à ce noble objectif.
Partager leur ferveur pour hisser toujours plus haut les couleurs de ce beau
vaisseau fut une grande fierté et un immense plaisir ! Il me reste à souhaiter
à mon successeur, Serge Ethuin, autant de bonheur et d’enthousiasme pour
porter encore plus loin le destin de cette prestigieuse Maison.
Un luxueux écrin de ce que l’hôtellerie haut de gamme peut offrir de
mieux à ses hôtes. Une grande Maison patrimoniale de la Principauté
et de son art de vivre. S’il est une parfaite illustration de ces mots, l’Hôtel Métropole Monte-Carlo représente encore bien plus à mes yeux. A
chacun de mes séjours ici, j’ai toujours ressenti une vraie émotion,
charmé par l’atmosphère des lieux et par la qualité d’accueil du personnel. Alors que je viens d’y prendre mes fonctions de Directeur
Général, c’est la même émotion que je ressens aujourd’hui en prenant
les rênes de ce prestigieux établissement. Il incarne le Monaco d’aujourd’hui, riche de son histoire et son passé tout en sachant être novateur. Dans le contexte si porteur d’une Principauté en perpétuelle mutation, je vais m’attacher à rendre toujours plus palpable ce qui fait le
style et le cachet de cet hôtel feutré et chaleureux. L’hôtellerie de luxe,
celle qui m’est chère du moins, ne vend pas un produit mais fait vivre
des expériences uniques, de belles et fortes émotions. En feuilletant
les pages de ce magazine, je vous invite à découvrir à quel point l’Hôtel
Métropole Monte-Carlo vibre au diapason de ce credo !
A year has already passed by at the helm of one of the most prestigious
hotels in Monaco. A rich and happy year, full of encounters, projects and
initiatives, carried out thanks to the collaboration and expertise of the
teams who tirelessly devote themselves to making our hotel an example
of sheer excellence... Throughout 2015, I have enjoyed the privilege of a
wonderful experience, both personal and professional, here at the
Metropole Monte-Carlo. I have learnt to love this hotel and all those
whose exemplary work gives it such a unique and special soul. I have
also been deeply touched by the welcome I received here in Monaco.
And I hope I have been a good ambassador for the Principality by
spreading the Metropole’s fame. At the end of my mandate with this
enchanting hotel, I would like to thank all the teams who pursue this
noble aim. Sharing their zeal in hoisting the flag of this fine vessel ever
higher has been a source of great pride and a real pleasure! It now
remains for me to wish my successor, Serge Ethuin, as much
happiness and enthusiasm in further perpetuating the destiny of this
prestigious mansion.
One of the finest examples of a luxurious setting that guests can be
offered by top-notch hotels. A grand establishment reflecting the heritage of the Principality and its fine art of living. While being a perfect
illustration of these words, in my view, the Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo
represents a great deal more. On each of my stays here, I have always
felt genuine emotion, charmed by the atmosphere that reigns here, and
by the quality of the welcome extended by the staff. Having just assumed my responsibilities as General Manager, it is this same emotion that
I feel today when taking up the reins of this prestigious hotel. It embodies the Monaco of the present day, enriched by its history and past,
while being capable of innovation. In this very promising context of a
Principality undertaking constant transformation, I shall strive to make
everything that contributes to the stylishness and personality of this
warm, plush hotel even more tangible. A luxury hotel, or at least the
kind I hold dear, does not sell a product, but provides unique experiences, wonderful, strong emotions. When leafing through the pages
of this magazine, I invite you to discover the extent to which the Hotel
Metropole Monte-Carlo resonates in tune to this credo!
