a r s e n o p y r i t e and a t r a c e of g a l e n a and s p h a l e r i t e a r e
r e p o r t e d i n t h e s h e a r . The q u a r t z v e i n s , g e n e r a l l y from
4 t o 8 i n c h e s wide, c a r r y v a r y i n g amounts of p y r i t e and
a r s e n o p y r i t e . Trench a s s a y s ranged from 0.2 t o 2.4 o z / t
Au. A sample s e l e c t e d from one of t h e dumps a s s a y e d 3.0
o z / t Au, 3.5 o z / t Ag. Between t h e f o r k s of Bradshaw
c r e e k , i n t h e v i c i n i t y of t h e F a r West c l a i m (Lot 2469),

t h e head of Bradshaw Creek, some 45 km s o u t h e a s t of P r i n c e t o n .
The Ymirman (Yurnman) (Yuninan) (Yuniman) group,
comprising t h e Black P i n e , Bush Rat, Black J a c k , L i t t l e
B e s s i e (Lots 1912-1915) and F a r West, Hub F r . , T r i u n e ,
Blue B e l l claims ( L o t s 2469-2472) were owned from 1900 o r
e a r l i e r by E . Bullock-Webster; t h e claims were Crown-granted
i n 1902. Work i n t h i s i n i t i a l e x p l o r a t i o n i n c l u d e d over
200 f e e t of c r o s s c u t s , d r i f t s and raises i n 3 a d i t s , 2 s m a l l
s h a f t s , and open c u t s .
Hedley Yuniman Gold F i e l d s , Limited was i n c o r p o r a t e d i n
1937 t o a c q u i r e t h e 8 Crown-grants.
Work t h a t y e a r was
a p p a r e n t l y l i m i t e d t o s t a k i n g 44 a d j a c e n t c l a i m s and f r a c t i o n s
and p r o s p e c t i n g . N o f u r t h e r work was r e p o r t e d u n t i l 19461947 when t h e company c a r r i e d o u ~some 370 f e e t of c r o s s c u t t i n g and d r i f t i n g i n a new low l e v e l a d i t (#4) a t
5 940 f e e t e l e v a t i o n .
