Scholastic en français Il y a des livres de Scholastic en français! French Scholastic Book Orders will go home monthly. Please send in a cheque or exact change. Cheques for French and English orders must be separate as they go to separate accounts. The September orders are due next Friday, September 23rd . La bibliothèque Il y a beaucoup de livres français dans la bibliothèque de l’école! La responsabilité In September, we emphasize RESPONSIBILITY as we get used to routines. In class, we show responsibility by: - listening and following instructions - taking care of belongings and classroom materials - doing my best when I work alone or in a group WE ARE RESPONSIBLE LEARNERS! Grade 1 and 2 students will go to the library on Fridays. It is important that books are sent back to class on those days to facilitate circulation of books. Immersion students have the privilege of taking home two books: one in French, one in English! I encourage you to read in French to your child, even if you are “unsure” of your accent or French reading skills! Exposure, interest and support are the key to success in an immersion program. Français immersion AIM: les actions Grade 1 and 2 students are reviewing/learning basic language structures with the AIM Gesture Approach.
