Le 28 avril 2013 – 5e dimanche de Pâques C - Porte de la foi, portail de nouveauté
Du nouveau est possible chaque jour pour qui adhère à la foi en Jésus ressuscité,
puisqu’il a donné un commandement nouveau. Franchir la porte de la foi, c’est
s’ouvrir à la diversité de ces nouveautés.
Ce que nous accomplissons permet à Dieu d’implanter sa demeure au milieu de
l’humanité: une terre nouvelle et des cieux nouveaux.
L’Abbé Noël est de retour après 25 jours au loin.

 Pour Madeleine Huot qui anime des
sorties de toutes sortes pour les
membres du Club de l’Amitié. Samedi
dernier, sous sa direction, les ainés du
Club se sont rendus à Canmore où ils ont
visité un musée et pris le dîner au
restaurant Chez François. Ensuite, à
Banff pour prendre le Gondole, visiter un
autre musée et souper dans un
restaurant Grecque. De tous les dires,
ce fut une sortie très amusante !

leurs réponses au sondage. Si vous ne
l’avez pas fait, svp compléter le sondage
concernant la diffusion de la messe avec
l’utilisation d’un projecteur/ordinateur et
mettez la feuille jaune dans le panier
d’offrandes. Merci!

Le 18 avril, Mme Denise Braden,
née Séguin, est décédée à
Montréal. Mme Braden était
une ancienne paroissienne et
amie de plusieurs ; elle était
âgée de 89 ans. Les funérailles
auront lieu à Montréal.
Le 19 avril, Mme Gabrielle
Favreau, maman de Joylyn
Skoko et Sharyn Favreau est
décédée à l’âge de 91 ans.

L'œil du menuisier
Un menuisier avait un bel atelier où il exerçait
son métier avec amour. Un jour, en l'absence
du patron, les ouvriers se réunirent en grand
conseil. La séance fut longue et animée et
parfois même véhémente. Il s'agissait d'exclure
de l'honorable assemblée un certain nombre de
membres.
L'un d'eux prit la parole: "Nous devons
expulser notre sœur la scie, parce qu'elle
déchiquette tout et fait grincer les dents. Elle a le
caractère le plus mordant de toute la terre!"
Un autre intervint: "Nous ne pouvons pas
garder parmi nous notre frère le rabot. Il a un
caractère coupant et tatillon au point d'éplucher
tout ce qu'il touche".
"Frère marteau, protesta un autre outil, a un
sale caractère, lourd et violent. C'est un vrai
cogneur. Sa façon de battre sans cesse jusqu'à
taper sur les nerfs de tout le monde, est plus que
choquante. Chassons-le!"
"Et les clous? Peut-on vivre avec des gens
piquants? Qu'ils s'en aillent tous! Sans parler de
la lime et de la râpe. Leur compagnie est
cause de continuelles frictions. Chassons
aussi le papier de verre: il ne semble exister que
pour égratigner son prochain!"
Ainsi débattaient avec de plus en plus
d'animosité les outils du menuisier. Ils parlaient
tous en même temps. Le marteau voulait
expulser la lime et le rabot qui, à leur tour,
voulaient se débarrasser des clous et du
marteau. Et ainsi de suite. À la fin de la séance,
tout le monde avait exclu tout le monde.
La réunion fut brusquement interrompue
par l'arrivée du menuisier. Tous les outils se
turent quand ils le virent s'approcher de son
établi.
L'homme prit une planche et la scia avec la
scie mordante. Il la rabota avec le rabot qui pèle
tout ce qu'il touche. Sœur la hache, qui blesse
cruellement, sœur la râpe à la langue rugueuse,
frère papier de verre qui gratte et égratigne: tous
entrèrent en action, l'un après l'autre, l'un avec
l'autre.
Le menuisier prit ensuite les frères clous au
caractère piquant ainsi que le marteau qui frappe
et percute. Il se servit de tous ses outils avec
leurs défauts, leur caractère insupportable et,
grâce à eux tous, il fabriqua un berceau. Un
magnifique berceau pour accueillir un bébé qui
allait naître.
Puis il attaqua son dernier projet : un bateau
qui allait permettre de mener à bon port des
gens éloignés les uns des autres.

Social Justice Ministry - Prison Ministry - Individuals are needed to assist with Bible reflection and leading in

One Rock & World Youth Day at Home 2013 - Are you going? One Rock has a new

One Rock – Volunteer Opportunity –One Rock is looking for an office assistant volunteer to help with
administrative and clerical duties during the next few months. The position requires a commitment 4-8
hours each week, working out of the Youth Ministry Office at the Pastoral Centre. Basic
