EEX and EPEX SPOT approved as pre-registered RRM
EEX Group to offer REMIT data reporting services
Leipzig / Paris / Copenhagen, 4 June 2015. European Energy Exchange (EEX) and
EPEX SPOT have been approved as pre-registered reporting mechanisms (RRMs) by
the Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER). The authorisation as an
RRM is a prerequisite for offering data reporting services in the context of the
Regulation on Market Integrity and Transparency (REMIT). ACER published the list of
RRMs on 3 June 2015.
From 7 October onwards, all orders submitted to and transactions concluded on an
Organised Market Place such as the exchanges of EEX Group will have to be reported
to ACER. EEX, EPEX SPOT, Gaspoint Nordic and Powernext – all members of EEX
Group – will support trading participants in fulfilling these obligations by providing data
reporting services.
With this step, EEX Group contributes to transparency of the energy wholesale market
while keeping complexity low. Gaspoint Nordic and Powernext will use the RRM of
EEX which facilitates reporting for market participants.

The European Power Exchange EPEX SPOT SE operates the power spot markets for
Germany, France, Austria and Switzerland. EPEX SPOT also provides market
operation services for the Hungarian Power Exchange HUPX and coupling services for
4M Market Coupling on behalf of the Slovakian, Hungarian and Romanian Power

About Gaspoint Nordic
Gaspoint Nordic offers an exchange based market place for physical trade of natural
gas in Denmark. The products offered all have short maturity ranging from within day
to month ahead. Gaspoint Nordic provides a market place to producers, retailers,
energy companies, trading representatives and large consumers on which they can
buy or sell natural gas anonymous and with no credit risk. Trading at Gaspoint Nordic
is based on continuous trading and is performed electronically through an internet
based trading system. This market model promotes further competition and
transparency hence contributing to a dynamic gas market. Gaspoint Nordic supports
market based balancing in cooperation with the Danish TSO, Energinet.dk by offering

EEX und EPEX SPOT vorab als RRM registriert
EEX-Gruppe bietet Dienstleistungen für REMIT Reporting an
Leipzig / Paris / Kopenhagen, 4. Juni 2015. Die European Energy Exchange (EEX)
und EPEX SPOT wurden von der Agentur für die Zusammenarbeit der Energieregulierungsbehörden (Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators – ACER)
vorab als Registered Reporting Mechanism (RRM) registriert. Die Registrierung eines
RRM ist Voraussetzung, um Reporting-Dienstleistungen vor dem Hintergrund der
Verordnung über die Integrität und Transparenz des Energiegroßhandelsmarktes
(Regulation on Market Integrity and Transparency – REMIT) anbieten zu können. Die
Liste der RRMs wurde von ACER am 3. Juni 2015 veröffentlicht.
Ab dem 7. Oktober müssen alle Kauf- und Verkaufgebote, die an einem sogenannten
Organisierten Marktplatz wie den Handelsplätzen der EEX-Gruppe geschlossen
werden, an ACER gemeldet werden. EEX, EPEX SPOT, Gaspoint Nordic und
Powernext als Unternehmen der EEX-Gruppe werden die Handelsteilnehmer bei der
Erfüllung
dieser
Verpflichtung
erfüllen,
indem
sie
ihren
Kunden
Reporting-
Dienstleistungen anbieten.
Mit
diesem
Schritt
trägt
die
EEX-Gruppe
zur
Transparenz
am
Energie-
großhandelsmarkt bei und reduziert die Komplexität auf Seiten der Marktteilnehmer.
Gaspoint Nordic und Powernext werden den RRM der EEX nutzen, wodurch das
Reporting für Marktteilnehmer vereinfacht wird.

von Erdgas in Dänemark. Die angebotenen Produkte umfassen kurzfristige Fälligkeiten

EEX et EPEX SPOT enregistrés en tant que RRM
Le groupe EEX en mesure de proposer un service de collecte de données REMIT
Leipzig / Paris / Copenhague, le 4 juin 2015. European Energy Exchange (EEX) et
EPEX SPOT ont été agréés en tant qu’entités de transmission des données
préenregistrées (RRM – Registered Reporting Mechanisms) par l’ACER – Agence de
coopération des régulateurs de l’énergie. Cet agrément en tant que RRM est
nécessaire pour pouvoir proposer un service de collecte des données dans le cadre de
de la Régulation sur l’Intégrité et la Transparence du Marché (REMIT – Regulation on
Market Integrity and Transparency). L’ACER a publié la liste des RRM le 3 juin 2015.
A partir du 7 octobre, toutes les données relatives aux ordres soumis et aux
transactions conclues sur un marché organisé comme les bourses du groupe EEX
devront être transmises à l’ACER. EEX, EPEX SPOT, Gaspoint Nordic et Powernext –
tous membres du Groupe EEX – aideront leurs membres de marché à remplir cette
obligation en mettant à leur disposition un service de collecte de données.
Cette étape permet au groupe EEX de contribuer à la transparence du marché de gros
de l’énergie tout en le maintenant moins complexe. Gaspoint Nordic et Powernext
utiliseront EEX en tant que RRM, ce qui facilitera le reporting aux membres de marché.
