Riviera Water Park
Riviera water park with a total area of 20,000
square meters was opened in Kazan, September,
20, 2007. This largest in Russia and one of the
largest water parks in Europe has two recreational
areas: a closed one operating all year round and
an open "summer" area functioning in the summer
period. The area of the closed zone of the water
park is 12,000 square meters, the area of the open
area is 8,000 square meters, water area under the
roof is more than 1,500 square meters, an open
water area is 900 square meters.
More than 50 water attractions are presented at
Riviera water park. There are 6 large water slides,
small and slow slides for children, a 60-meter
wave pool, a sauna complex with jacuzzi,
solarium, massage bath among the main water
attractions. The height of the starting tower of the
highest slide is 25 meters. In addition, here you
can find a unique water attraction «Wave Rider»
representing surfing on an artificial water. This
ride, upon the words of the management of the
water park is presented only in 8 water parks of
the world. A year-round indoor ice rink with a
professional ice operates on the open beach area.

Capacity of Riviera water park is 3,500 customers
a day. Simultaneously, the building may
accomodate 1,006 persons.
Construction of the water park was conducted by
"Company "Suvar-Kazan". The estimated cost of
the project amounts up to 1027 million rubles.

The water park is the second phase of the
construction of a multifunctional complex "Riviera"
realized according to the project developed by
Orimeks-Suvar LLC. First of all a cinema, a
restaurant and a bar entering into the complex
facilities were opened in the beginning of 2007.
The third stage of the complex
construction represents a 24-storey hotel with a
fitness club opened in 2008.
