DESCRIPTION/DESCRIPTION
PROPERTIES: This type of PV permits the use of
WATERSTOP on concrete constructions exposed to
temperatures from -30°C to +70°C inclusive, thus ensuring
notable resistance to ageing, chemical corrosion in
alkaline environments, salt water and acidic solutions.
FUNCTION: The WATERSTOP type RG, with bulb, is used
for sealing expansion and contraction joint openings in
concrete castings. It ensures water resistance even
under pressure. It is used to make swimming pools,
canals, acquaducts, tanks and dams leakproof as well as to
prevent water seepage in foundations in general, tunnels
and silos.
TECHNICAL DETAILS: Resistant to sunlight, ozone, other
atmospheric and chemical agents normally present in
the air or water table. Has high flexibility even at low
temperatures. The mechanical characteristics remain
unchanged over time. It is compatible with prefabricated
synthetic PVC membranes.
CARACTÉRISTIQUES: Ce type de PVC permet d’utiliser le
WATERSTOP pour des structures en béton exposées des
températures variant de -30°C
+70°C, en assurant
également une bonne résistance dans la durée,
la
corrosion chimique et dans les environnements alcalins,
dans l’eau salée et les solutions acides.
FONCTION: Le WATERSTOP type RG, avec bulbe, est utilisé
comme joint de dilatation dans les sols en béton. Il assure
une résistance l’eau même sous pression. Sans fuite et
totalement étanche, il est utilisé pour la construction de
piscines, canaux, aqueducs, cuves, digues et bassins ainsi que
pour la protection contre l’eau des fondations, tunnels et
cuves.
DÉTAILS TECHNIQUES: Résistant aux rayons du soleil,
l’ozone et aux agents chimiques normalement présents dans
l’air et dans les nappes phréatiques. Sa flexibilité est très
élevée même
basse température. Les caractéristiques
mécaniques ne se détériorent pas dans le temps. Son
utilisation est compatible avec des membranes
préfabriquées en PVC synthétique.

STRESS RESISTANCE/SOLLICITATIONS
Waterstop type RG resists average longitudinal and cross stress, which occurs during the settling-down period of the
construction. It also resists low to high hydrostatic pressure.

FITTING/LA POSE
The profile is fitted to the reinforcing rod with the anchoring clips provided and tied with iron wire.
