The Palestinian movie festival in Auvergne-Rhône - ERAP

The Palestinian movie festival in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes has confirmed for two years the interest of
this ambitious project of ERAAP association. This project met the positive response from many
people and various local groups all interested by the idea of a "Palestinian movie festival", and
also from a wider audience. The festival "Palestine in view" gives a more varied image of Palestine,
different from the usual stereotypes. It showcases the filmmakers and actors thereby assuming its
vocation of support of the Palestinian cinema.
The festival took place
in 2015 and 2016, in 24
cities from 9
departments
Each year there have
been more than 40
sessions
which
gathered more than
1500 spectators.
The Festival "Palestine in view" is working closely with the association "Présence Palestinienne”
who organizes “Week of Palestinian movie in Vaucluse". Also it is partner of Palestine Film
Festival from Paris and "Filming is to exist" from Geneva.

Palestinian guests participate in the festival and bring a living light.
The festival is also an opportunity to present other artistic events.
