The University of the Côte d’Azur is one of 12
colleges that have been selected in a Call for
Expression of Interest from the Ministry of
HigherEducationandResearch.

ExoMars (Exobiology on Mars) mission will
search for biosignatures of Martian life, past or
present, using several spacecraft elements. The
ExoMars Trace Gas Orbiter (TGO) and the test
stationary lander called Schiaparelli were
launched on 14 March 2016. The TGO has
delivered the Schiaparelli lander on 19 October
2016.TheTGOwasmadeinCannes,byThales
AleniaSpace.Theorbiter,aswellaselementsof
Schiaparelli module, was assembled for
European Space Agency and Russian Space
agencyRoscosmos.
