I would like to nominate my friend and co-worker
Raymond Landry as my Disability Awareness Week
Hero!
Ray is blind, but functions so well that his disability
is easy to forget. Ray shows us every day not to
underestimate him; from getting to work in the
morning, to serving clients every day, and using
assistive technology, Ray does it all.
Ray has always managed to work and live
independently by compensating in remarkable
ways for his lack of vision. On the weekend, he has
even gotten up on his fiancé's roof to do repairs!
And recently went zip lining and rented a bicycle
for two with his fiancé! He is game for anything
and never ceases to amaze us!
In spite of his amazing achievements, Raymond
goes about his daily life with humility and good
humor. Ray is truly phenomenal!
Ray is a cherished member of our work family.
And, we are looking forward to celebrating Ray's
wedding this summer!

handicapées!
Ray est aveugle, mais fonctionne si bien qu’il est
facile de l’oublier. Il nous démontre tous les jours
qu’on ne devrait pas le sous-estimer. De son
arriver le matin, au service de ses clients
quotidiens et l’utilisation de technologies
adaptées, Ray le fait tous.
Ray a toujours réussi à travailler et à vivre de façon
autonome en compensant son manque de vision
de manière remarquable. Le weekend, il s’est
même rendu sur le toit de la maison de sa fiancée
pour y effectuer des réparations! Il a aussi
récemment essayé de la Tyrolienne et du tandem
avec sa fiancée. Il est toujours prêt à tout et ne
cesse de nous impressionner.
En dépit de ses réalisations étonnantes, Raymond
poursuit sa vie quotidienne avec humilité et bonne
humeur. Ray est vraiment phénoménal!
Ray est un précieux membre de notre famille de
travail et nous sommes impatients de célébrer son
mariage cet été!
