EXTERNAL CD-RW INSTRUCTIONS FOR INTELLEX
The full installation instructions and the software download required for installing an
external CD-RW are both available from the American Dynamics Web site.
REQUIREMENTS
• Intellex 2.x system with internal CD-ROM drive and software version 2.5.3 or
higher
or
• Intellex 3.x system with internal CD-ROM drive and software version 3.0.15 or
higher
• USB CD-RW kit part number RDVCDRX02
IMPORTANT: This update will disable the DAT tape function on an Intellex 3.x system. DO NOT install this update if the archive to DAT function of the
Intellex is necessary. It is not possible to use a USB CD-RW and the
DAT tape on an Intellex 3.x system.
DOWNLOADING THE INSTRUCTIONS AND SOFTWARE
To download the instructions and software:
1. Go to www.americandynamics.net.
2. Click Software Downloads.
3. Under the Intellex Digital Video Management Solution section, look for the
heading Drivers. Click the Intellex Accessory Drivers link.
4. Under the section USB CD-RW Driver for RDVCDRX02, download the following:

IMPORTANT : Cette mise à jour désactivera la fonction de bande DAT sur un système
Intellex 3.x. NE PAS installer cette mise à jour si la fonction archivage
vers DAT de l’Intellex est nécessaire. Il est impossible d’utiliser un CDRW USB et la bande DAT sur un système Intellex 3.x.
