The Magnacon is fitted with the Swiss ISA 8172-220 movement. The 30 minute
Chronograph for the Magnacon is Nixon’s most precise Elite movement to date,
capable of timing accurate to 1/5th second.
Ever since the Huguenots found refuge in Geneva and incorporated into a
watch guild in 1601, Switzerland has been know for its quality time pieces. This
movement has been assembled, adorned and adjusted by master watch-makers in
Switzerland, the birthplace of luxury watches.
The care, history and skill employed by these master watchmakers in assembling
the movement of your watch are a guarantee of its reliability, and accuracy
provided you follow the guidelines for correct care and maintenance.

SETTING THE TIME Unscrew crown and pull out to the 3rd position. Turn
the crown toward you to advance time and away from you to go back. Push
crown back to first position and re-screw crown to ensure water resistance.

SETTING THE DATE Unscrew crown and pull out to the 2nd position. Turn
the crown away from you to change the date. Push crown back to first position
and re-screw crown to ensure water resistance. (To ensure accuracy, do not
attempt to change the date between the times of 9pm and 12:30am).
SETTING THE DAY Unscrew crown and pull out to the 3rd position. Advance
time 24hrs to change day. Push crown back to first position and re-screw crown.

mishandling the Chrono hands need to be reset to the 12 position. Unscrew
both A and B pushers. Unscrew crown and pull out to second position. Push
and hold B to advance chrono minute hand back to 30 min position. Push and
hold A to advance chrono second hand back to 12 position. Re-screw pushers
and crown to ensure water resistance.

WATER RESISTANCY
Nixon guarantees the water-resistance of your Magnacon to a rating of 100 METERS.
Before contacting any water it is critical that your crown is screwed in completely to
ensure complete protection.
Please know that the water resistancy is attained using a series of seals which will
deteriorate under normal conditions and reduce the water resistancy of your watch.
These seals should be checked by Nixon or a certified watch repair shop at least once
every two years to ensure the rated water resistancy.
Avoid wearing your Magnacon in hot tubs or saunas.

BRACELET ADJUSTMENTS
BALLISTIC NYLON STRAP The Magnacon is fitted with a custom developed
ballistic nylon strap and a coated solid stainless steel screw fastened buckle for
maximum security in all conditions.
Custom developed with a Teflon coating for ultimate protection, the ballistic nylon
strap is designed to survive the test of time in the harshest conditions while still
looking good.
STAINLESS STEEL BAND The Magnacon SS is fitted with a custom stainless steel
band with a modular link system and micro adjust buckle.

To ensure proper technique please take you watch to a certified watch repair shop
to adjust the number of links in your band.
The Micro Adjust feature on the buckle can be used to find the perfect fit for your
wrist over a total range of 3mm.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
If you need any service to your watch we strongly recommend that you send it back
to Nixon or find an authorized jeweler that can help you with your maintenance.
The individual Serial number that is on the back of your watch is your proof of
authenticity. Keep this number in a safe place and track all maintenance in the
back of this book.
Movement Service We recommend that you get the movement of your
watch checked by a certified watch repair shop every 5 years to ensure it is working
properly and keeping time.
Seal Service We recommend that you get the seals of your watch checked
by a certified watch repair shop every 2 years to ensure it’s water resistance is
maintained.

Temperature Do not expose your watch to extreme temperature.

Anti Shock Although the MAGNACON has an incabloc anti-shock system in
the movement it is best to avoid large shocks.
Cleaning Rinse watch with soap and water after exposure to salt water or sand
and dry with a soft cloth.

This elite class watch is covered by a lifetime limited warranty on defects in materials
and workmanship. If our technical services determine that the defective part or
problem is a result of manufacturing, your watch will be repaired free of charge.
After the first two years from the date of purchase, the labor cost of any repair
or replacement will be charged to you whether or not the part is covered by the
warranty. To benefit from this limited warranty, you must present the certificate
at the back of this book signed and dated by the store where you purchased the
watch and proof that all maintenance has been kept up. This can be tracked in the
back of this book as well and you need to receive a stamp, date, and signature of all
technicians that service your watch.
No implied warranties, including the warranties of merchantability and fitness shall
apply to this product for any period beyond the terms of this written warranty. Nixon is
not liable, under any circumstances for any incidental damages sustained in connection
with this product. Any recovery may not be greater than the purchase price paid for
this product.

El Magnacon está equipado con la maquinaria suiza ISA 8172-220. El Cronógrafo
de 30 minutos del Magnacon es la maquinaria Elite más precisa hasta la fecha,
capaz de cronometrar precisando hasta 1/5 de segundo.
Desde que los Huguenots se refugieron en Geneva y fundaron una asociacion de
fabricaion de relojes en 1601, Suiza es conocida por la cualidad de sus piezas. Este
movimiento fue assemblado, ornado y ajustado por maestros relojeros en Suiza, el

AJUSTAR LA HORA Desenroscar la corona y sacarla hasta la 3ª posición.
Girar la corona hacia uno mismo para adelantar la hora y en el sentido contrario,
hacia afuera, para retrasarla.

AJUSTAR LA FECHA Desenroscar la corona y sacarla hasta la 2ª posición.
Girar la corona hacia afuera para cambiar la fecha. Empujar la corona a la
primera posición y volver a enroscarla para asegurar la resistencia al agua. (Para
una mayor precisión, evitar cambiar la fecha entre las 9pm y las 12:30am).
AJUSTAR EL DÍA Desenroscar la corona y sacarla hasta la 3ª posición.
Adelantar la hora 24 horas para cambiar de día. Empujar la corona de nuevo
hasta la primera posición y volver a enroscarla.

RESISTENCIA AL AGUA
Nixon garantiza la resistencia al agua de tu Magnacon hasta un índice de 100
METROS. Antes de ponerlo en contacto con el agua, es fundamental que la corona
esté totalmente enroscada para asegurar una protección total.

Reglajes de la correa
El Magnacon lleva correa balística de creación custom y hebilla
de acero inoxidable sólido revestido para garantizar la máxima seguridad en todas las
condiciones. Creación custom con capa de Teflon, la protección definitiva, la correa de
nylon balístico está diseñada para sobrevivir al paso del tiempo en las condiciones más
duras, sin perder su buena apariencia.

El Magnacon SS se compone de una correa en acero inoxidable conceptualizada por
un sistema de eslabon modulable y una micro hebilla.
Para asegurar una buena tecnica de manipulacion de los eslabones de la correa,
necesita que ir en una tienda especializada.

La micro caracteristica de ajustacion de la hebilla puede ser utilizar para obtener
una posicion lo mas comoda a vuestro puno sobre una gama total de 3mm.

El reloj automatic tiene una garantia limitada quecubre los defectos de materiales y
de mano deobra. Si nuestro servicio tecnico determina queel problema resulta de
la fabricación, su automaticserá reparado gratuitamente. Una vez los dosprimeros
años pasados despuès de la fecha decompra, el coste de cualquier reparación o
reemplazole será facturado – que la parte del reloj seacubierto o no por la garantia.
Para beneficiar deesta garantia limitada, tiene que presentar elcertificado al dorso de
esta cartilla con la fechade compra y la firma de la tienda donde comprósu reloj, y
las inscripciones que prueban que losmantenimientos fueron hecho correctamente.
Aldorso de esta cartilla puede tambien anotar elseguido de los mantenimientos, y
cada relojerosque repararón su reloj tienen que poner un sello,una fecha y firma.

Die Magnacon ist ausgerüstet mit einem schweizer ISA 8172-220 Uhrwerk. Der 30
Minuten Chronograph der Magnacon ist bisher Nixon’s präziseste Elite –Uhrwerk

herausziehen. Die Krone in Richtung zu dir hin drehen um die Zeit nach
vorne bzw. von dir weg um die Zeit nach hinten zu verstellen. Die Krone in
die 1. Position zurück schieben und wieder zuschrauben um Wasserdichte zu
gewährleisten.
3TAGEINSTELLUNG Krone aufschrauben und bis auf die 3. Position
herausziehen. Die Zeit 24 Stunden nach vorne stellen um den Tag zu verstellen.
Die Krone in die 1. Position zurück schieben und wieder zuschrauben.

MESSUNG DER KUMULIERTEN ZEIT Krone A aufdrehen und druücken
um den Chronometer zu starten. Drücke A erneut um diesen zu stoppen.
Die Krone B aufdrehen und drücken für die 0-Stellung. Beide Kronen
wieder eindrehen um Wasserdichte zu gewährleisten. (Nach 2 Stunden
ununterbrochener Benutzung des Chronometers stoppt dieser automatisch um
Batterie zu sparen).

NEUEINSTELLUNG DER CHRONOMETERZEIGER Manchmal müssen
die Zeiger des Chromometers nach Batteriewechsel oder falscher Handhabung
wieder auf die 12. Position zurückgesetzt werden. Beide Kronen A und B
aufdrehen. Die grosse Krone aufdrehen und auf die 2. Position herausziehen.
B drücken und halten um den Chronometer vorwärts laufen zu lassen und
den Minutenzeiger zurück auf die 30 Min.-Position zu stellen. Drücke A
um den Chronometer vorwärts zu bewegen und den Sekundenzeiger zurück
auf die 12.-Position zu bewegen. Alle drei Kronen wieder eindrehen um die
Wasserdichte zu gewährleisten.

MESSUNG VON ZWISCHENZEITEN Krone A und B aufdrehen. Krone
A einmal drücken um den Chronometer zu starten. Krone B drücken um die
Zwischenzeit zu nehmen. Drücke B nochmals dann springt dieser auf die im
Hintergrund weitergelaufenen Zeit. Krone B drücken für 0-Stellung. Beide
Kronen wieder eindrehen um Wasserdichte zu gewährleisten.

WASSERDICHTE
Nixon gewährleistet eine Garantie auf Wasserdichte bis zu 100m.
Vor jedem Kontakt mit Wasser muss die Krone völlig eingeschraubt werden um die
Wasserdichte der Uhr zu garantieren.
Bitte nehmen Sie zur Kenntnis das die Wasserdichte mit dem Zustand der Dichtungen
zusammen hängt. Daher sollten die Dichtungen mindestens einmal in zwei Jahren von
Nixon oder einem geprüftem Uhrmacher kontrolliert werden um die Wasserdichte
gewährleisten zu können.
Das Tragen der Magnacon in Whirlpool und Sauna ist zu vermeiden.

Bandeinstellung
Die Magnacon ist ausgestattet mit einem eigens
hergestellten ballistischem Nylonband und einem
verschraubtenVerschluss der aus rostfreien oberflächenveredeltem Edelstahl besteht.
Das Ende des Bandes ist zusätzlich mit einem Drucknopf befestigt.
Das eigens entwickelte Band ist mit Teflon umantelt für einen maximalen
Schutz. Das ballistische Nylonband ist designed worden um auch den härtestens
Beanspruchungen dauerhaft standzuhalten und dabei gut auszusehen.

Stainless Steel Armband Die Magnacon SS ist mit einem Custom Stainless
Steel Armband ausgestattet, welches verlängert oder verkürzt warden kann. Am
Verschluss befinden sich ebenso Mikro Armband Verlängerungen.
Um ein korrektes Vorgehen zu gewährleisten wird empfohlen die Uhr zu einem
lizensierten Uhrmacher zu bringen, um die Länge des Bandes dem Gelenk anzupassen.
Die Mikro Verschluss Anpassung kann dazu verwendet warden die perfekte Passform
für das Gelenk zu finden über eine gesamte Länge von 3mm.

in derKunstfertigkeit. Wenn unsere technischenMitarbeiter feststellen, daß das
defekte Teil oderdas Problem ein Resultat der Herstellung ist,wird Deine Automatic
kostenlos repariert. Nachdem Zeitraum von 2 Jahren nach dem Erwerb,werden die
Arbeitskosten jeder möglicherReparatur oder der Wiedereinbau vonErsatzteilen zu
Deinen Kosten gehen, auch wenndas Ersatzteil der Garantie unterlag. Um vondieser
begrenzten Garantie zu profitieren, musstDu die Bescheinigung auf der Rückseite
desBegleitbuches ueber den Kauf und die WartungDeiner Uhr vorweisen. Die
Rueckseite desBegleitbuches ist dafuer da, alle Wartungendurch einen Stempel, eine
Unterschrift und einDatum des jeweiligen Shops zu dokumentieren.

La Magnacon est basée sur le mouvement Suisse ISA 8172-220. Les 30 minutes
de chronomètre de la Magnacon est le mouvement le plus précis de la Elite jusqu’à
présent, capable de chronométrer à la 1/5ème de seconde près.
Depuis que les Huguenots ont trouvé refuge à Genève et se sont associés en 1601, la
Suisse est reconnue pour la qualité de ses montres. Ce mouvement a été assemblé, orné
et ajusté par les maîtres horlogers de Suisse, le berceau des montres de luxe.
Le soin, l’histoire et les compétences mis en oeuvre par ces maîtres horlogers dans
l’assemblage du mouvement de votre montre, sont la garantie de sa fiabilité et de sa

MESURER LES TEMPS CUMULES Dévissez le bouton A et poussez le une
fois pour que le chrono se mette en marche. Poussez A de nouveau pour arrêter
le chrono. Dévissez le bouton B et le pousser une fois pour remettre a zéro.
Revissez les deux boutons pour assurer l’étanchéité. (Après 2 heures en continue,
le chrono s’arrête et se remet automatiquement a zéro pour économiser la pile).

REDEMARER LE CHRONO MANUELEMENT Parfois après l’échange de la
pile ou une mauvaise manipulation , les aiguilles du chrono doivent être remises
sur le chiffre 12. Dévissez les boutons A et B. Dévissez la couronne et tirez la sur
la deuxième position. Poussez et maintenez le bouton B pour avancer l’aiguille «
minute » du chrono sur le nombre 30 du cadran. Poussez et maintenez le bouton
A pour faire avancer l’aiguille des secondes du chrono jusqu à sa position sur le
chiffre 12.Revissez les boutons et la couronne pour assurer l’étanchéité.

L’ETANCHEITE
Pour la Magnacon, Nixon garantie une étanchéité de 100 mètres.
Avant un quelconque contact avec l’eau, il est très important de s’assurer que la
couronne est parfaitement bien revissée pour assurer une complète intanchéité.
Sachez, que l’étanchéité est obtenue par l’utilisation de joints en plastique ou en
caoutchouc qui se détérioreront dans des conditions normales et réduiront le niveau
d’étanchéité de votre montre. Ces joints doivent être vérifiés par un horloger qualifié
au mois tous les 2 ans pour maintenir le niveau d’étanchéité.
Evitez de porter votre Magnacon dans des jacuzzis ou des saunas.

Le bracelet de la Magnacon est spécialement
conçu en nylon balistique avec des vis en acier inoxydable pour assurer
un sécurité maximale.
Développée avec une couche de Teflon pour une haute protection, le bracelet en nylon
balistique est conçu pour être porté par tous les temps, tout en gardant un bon look.

acier inoxydable conçut par un systeme de maillon modulable et d’une micro boucle.
Pour garantir le bon fonctionnement et un confort optimal, il est recommandé
de changer les maillons chez un horloger professionel. La micro caracteristique
d’ajustation de la boucle à votre poignet, portant sur une gamme total de 3mm, vous
permettra d’obtenir un confort maximal.

すが、通常のご使用においてもシール部の素材は経年劣
化する事がございます。シール部の劣化は時計の耐水性

勧め致します。
