Bevor Sie mit dem Einbau beginnen, lesen Sie sich diese
Bedienungsanleitung bitte komplett durch.
Falls Sie keine Fachkenntnisse für den Einbau haben, so lassen Sie
den Einbau von einer Fachkraft oder einer entsprechenden
Fachwerkstatt durchführen!

Schalten Sie Ihren PC aus und trennen Sie ihn von der Netzspannung,
ziehen Sie den Netzstecker!
Der Betrieb des Produkts ist nur eingebaut in einem PC erlaubt, das
PC-Gehäuse muss geschlossen sein.
Aus Sicherheits- und Zulassungsgründen (CE) ist das eigenmächtige Umbauen
und/oder Verändern des Produkts nicht gestattet.
Das Produkt gehört nicht in Kinderhände. Lassen Sie deshalb in Anwesenheit von
Kindern besondere Vorsicht walten.
Gehen Sie vorsichtig mit dem Produkt um.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
"AKASA” Round Cable
• Ersetzen Sie das vorhandene Kabel (Floppykabel bzw. IDE-Kabel) durch das
beleuchtete Rundkabel. Merken Sie sich dabei die Orientierung des vorhandenen
Kabels (Pin 1 auf Mainboard und Laufwerk) und stecken Sie das beleuchtete
Rundkabel entsprechend an.

Achten Sie auf die korrekte Orientierung der Kabel (Pin 1 muss immer mit Pin 1
verbunden werden).
Für die Orientierung von Pin 1 auf Mainboard und IDE-Geräten beachten
Sie die Anleitung der jeweiligen PC-Komponenten. Fragen Sie im Zweifelsfall einen Fachmann.
Beim IDE-Kabel (98 24 38 und 98 24 39) ist die Anordnung des Master- bzw.
Slave-Geräts sehr wichtig. Beachten Sie obige Abbildung.
Bei anderer Anordnung kann es vorkommen, dass der PC nicht startet oder die
IDE-Geräte nicht oder nicht korrekt erkannt werden.
• Verlegen Sie alle Kabel so, dass sie nicht in PC-Lüfter gelangen und dass sie nicht
durch scharfe Kanten im PC beschädigt werden können. Verwenden Sie zur
Fixierung entsprechende Kabelbinder.
• Befestigen Sie den Inverter z.B. über doppelseitiges Klebeband und einen zusätzlichen Kabelbinder.
• Verschließen Sie danach das Gehäuse Ihres PCs.
Tipps und Hinweise
Betreiben Sie das Produkt aus Sicherheitsgründen nur bei geschlossenem PC. Bei Berührung von Hochspannung führenden
Kontakten/Anschlüssen besteht die Gefahr eines elektrischen
Schlages, Lebensgefahr!
• Befestigen Sie den Inverter z.B. über doppelseitiges Klebeband oder Klettband im
PC. Sichern Sie ihn zusätzlich z.B. mit einem Kabelbinder.
• Knicken Sie das Kabel nicht, dadurch könnte die EL-Leuchtschnur beschädigt
werden.

Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Das Produkt dient ist zum Einbau in einen PC vorgesehen und dient dort zum
Anschluss entsprechender Geräte. Die Beleuchtung des Kabels erzeugt einen optischen Effekt.

Installation
• Switch OFF your PC and disconnect it from the mains supply; pull out the mains
plug!
• Then open the housing of your computer.
• Replace the existing cable (floppy cable or IDE cable) with the illuminated round
cable Take note thereby of the orientation of the existing cable (pin 1 on mainboard
and drive) and insert the illuminated round cable correspondingly.

Pay attention to correct orientation of the cable (pin 1 must always be connected
with pin 1).
Intended Use
The product is intended for installation in a PC and is used there for the connection
to corresponding devices. The illumination of the cable creates an optical effect.

For the orientation of pin 1 to the mainboard and IDE devices, observe the
instructions of the PC components concerned. If you are in doubt, ask a
specialist.
For the IDE cables (98 24 38 and 98 24 39), the arrangement of the master or slave
device is very important. Observe the instructions above.
With any other arrangement, it can occur that the PC does not start or the IDE
devices are not recognised or not recognised correctly.
Safety instructions
Before commencing installation, please read these operating instructions through completely.
If you have no specialist knowledge of installation procedures, please
arrange for the installation to be carried out by a specialist or a suitable specialist workshop.
• Lay all cables that they cannot become entangled in the PC fan and that they cannot be damaged in the PC by sharp edges. Use appropriate cable binders for fastening.
• Attach the inverter, for example with double-sided adhesive tape and an additional cable binder.

Operation of the product is only permitted when it is built into a PC.
The housing of the PC must be closed.
• Then close the housing of your computer.
Tips and notes
For safety and licensing (CE) reasons, unauthorised conversion and/or modification
to the product are not permitted.
Only operate the product when the PC is closed. If contact is made
with contacts/connections conducting high voltage, there is the risk
of an electric shock, danger to life!
The product has no place in the hands of children! Particular care must therefore be
exercised if children are present.
• Attach the inverter e.g. with double-sided adhesive tape or Velco in the PC. Secure
it additionally, for example, with a cable binder.
Handle the product with care.
• Do not bend the cable as the EL illuminated cord could be damaged.

Montage
• Eteindre l´ordinateur, le débrancher du secteur et retirer la fiche de la prise de
courant !
• Ouvrir ensuite le boîtier de l´ordinateur.
• Remplacer le câble existant (câble Floppy ou câble IDE) par le câble rond lumineux.
Noter la position du présent câble (broche 1 sur carte mère et disque dur), raccorder le câble rond lumineux en fonction.

Vérifier la bonne position des câbles (la broche1 doit toujours être raccordée à la
broche 1).
Utilisation conforme
Le produit est conçu pour être intégré dans un ordinateur et permet la connexion
des appareils correspondants. L´éclairage du câble génère un effet d´optique.

Eteindre puis débrancher l´ordinateur du secteur avant de retirer la
fiche de la prise de courant !
Le produit ne doit fonctionner que lorsqu´il est monté dans un ordinateur, le boîtier de l´ordinateur doit resté fermé.
Pour des raisons de sécurité et d'homologation (CE), toute transformation et/ou
modification arbitraire du produit est interdite.
Ne pas laisser le produit à la portée des enfants ! Une prudence toute particulière
s'impose donc en présence d'enfants.
Manipuler le produit avec précaution.
Observer les conseils concernant les composantes respectives de l´ordinateur pour régler la broche 1 sur la carte mère et les appareils IDE.
Consulter, en cas de doute, un spécialiste.
Pour le câble IDE (98 24 38 et 98 24 39), le montage de l´appareil maître/esclave
est très important. Respecter le schéma ci-dessus.
En cas d´implantation autre que celle indiquée, il peut arriver que l´ordinateur ne
démarre pas ou que les appareils IDE ne soient pas détectés ou soient incorrectement détectés.
• Poser tous les câbles de manière à ce qu´ils ne puissent pas pénétrer dans les ventilateurs de l´ordinateur et être endommagés par des bords coupants dans l´ordinateur. Utiliser les serre-câbles correspondants pour les fixer.
• Fixer l´inverseur à l´aide par ex. d´un ruban adhésif double face et d´un serrecâbles supplémentaire.
• Refermer ensuite le boîtier de l´ordinateur.
Conseils et indications
Pour des raisons de sécurité, faire uniquement fonctionner le produit
lorsque le boîtier de l´ordinateur est fermé ! En cas de contact des
raccordements/contacts conducteurs de haute tension, il y a risque
d´électrocution – Danger de mort !
• Fixer l´inverseur à l´aide par ex. d´un ruban adhésif double face et d´un ruban
agrippant. Fixer-le en plus avec un serre-câbles par exemple.
• Ne pas plier le câble, le fil électroluminescent pourrait être endommagé.
