qSurface Preparation
After enlargement of root canal, prepare the root canals to be filled using conventional
endodontic treatment such as EDTA or sodium hypochlorite (NaClO). Remove excess
moisture in the root canal with paper points, etc.

1. What is MetaSEAL Soft?
MetaSEAL Soft is a self-etching adhesive resin-based endodontic sealer. MetaSEAL Soft
has excellent characteristics such as simple and easy handling as well as high
biocompatibility and sealability. When the retreatment is indicated, removal of the sealer
is easy unlike any other resin based sealers.
MetaSEAL Soft contains 4-META*, a high performance adhesive monomer that penetrates
through the tooth structure, creating highly polymerized strong interface between root
canal walls and cement. MetaSEAL Soft also bonds to gutta percha points and any other
points available in the market.

5.1 Precautions for Use
qUse MetaSEAL Soft only for the applications recommended in the instructions.
wMetaSEAL Soft is for dental clinicians’ use only.
eClinicians should use protective gloves.
rFirmly recap the Liquid bottle and Powder jar immediately after use. To avoid
contamination, do not mix the components with those of other materials, nor mix the
bottle caps. After use, dispose of leftover material. Once dispensed, do not return
the materials to their original container.
tAlways utilize proper light filtering eye protection during use of the light. Do not look
directly at the light source.
yEndo Nozzle is for one-time use only. It is not autoclavable or chemically sterilizable,
dispose it after each patient to avoid cross-contamination.
uEndo Nozzle should not be immersed in chemical agents such as alcohol for a long
time to avoid degradation or damage.
iDo not modify the Endo Nozzle.
oAfter filling the MetaSEAL Soft into the Endo Nozzle, use it within the workable time (30 min).
5.2 Important Precautions
qMetaSEAL Soft should not be used by clinicians or on patients who are methacrylate
monomer-sensitive. If signs of irritation such as redness appear, stop using it
immediately and consult a physician.
wMetaSEAL Soft contains acidic methacrylate monomer. Avoid contact of the
MetaSEAL Soft components with soft tissue, skin or eyes. Contaminated skin or
mucosa should be wiped off immediately with alcohol and then rinsed thoroughly
with copious amounts of running water.
eIf the MetaSEAL Soft components enter the eye, immediately rinse the eye thoroughly
with running water. Then the patient should be examined by an ophthalmologist.
rConfirm the safety of the Endo Nozzle such as no damage, breakage, malfunction before use.
tAvoid contact of the Endo Nozzle filled with MetaSEAL Soft with mucosa, soft tissue, or eyes.
wApplication of MetaSEAL Soft
a) Dispensation
• Dispense 1 drop of Liquid and 1 scoop of Powder, using MetaSEAL Soft spoon
onto a mixing pad and stir thoroughly with Spatula.
• To extend working time up to 30 minutes, protect the mixture from light.
b) Application (using Endo Nozzle)
• Set the Stop Ring on the tip of the Endo Nozzle when necessary. Fill the nozzle with
the MetaSEAL mixture and insert the plug into the nozzle. Set it to an appropriate
C-R syringe R* according to its manufacturer’s instructions. Apply MetaSEAL Soft to
the entire length of the root canal. If necessary, insert a main point and accessory
points using cold obturation technique. Hot obturation technique should not be used.

Note: Since MetaSEAL Soft is dual-cure, the mixture may be cured in the nozzle if
it is kept under a room light or a dental light. Keep the mixture covered after
mixing, and use it up in 15 minutes.
• Wait until next day before performing further treatment steps. Irradiate the filled
MetaSEAL Soft for more than 20 seconds if coronal seal is desired.
b’) Application (without using Endo Nozzle)
• Deliver MetaSEAL Soft with gutta percha points etc. into the root canal, and obturate the
canals using cold obturation technique. Hot obturation technique should not be used.
• Wait until next day before performing further treatment steps. Irradiate the filled
MetaSEAL Soft for more than 20 seconds if coronal seal is desired.
7. To Get the Best Results
qUse of rubber dam is recommended.
wIrrigate and dry the root canal thoroughly before use. Prevent the contamination with
saliva and blood after drying.
eDo not vary the mixing ratio between Liquid and Powder. Stir thoroughly with Spatula to
make a homogeneous texture.
rMetaSEAL Soft starts curing with a light. Use the Light Shield when not used.
Follow the workable time mentioned above.
tIllumination of a endo-microscope should be used with an orange filter.
yCare should be taken to minimize the voids during filling.
uIntra-canal medicament previously placed should be completely removed before the
obturation with MetaSEAL Soft.
iAvoid extruding MetaSEAL Soft from the root perforation. Any root perforations should
be properly repaired prior to the obturation with the MetaSEAL Soft.)
oEndo Nozzles are not sterile. They can be sanitized by wiping with 70% ethanol before
the use as indicated. They are not autoclavable.
!0Before using intraorally, confirm the prepared Endo Nozzle dispenses the MetaSEAL
Soft mixture smoothly. If MetaSEAL Soft mixture is not dispensed smoothly from the tip
of the Endo Nozzle, use a new EndoNozzle.
!1Always use the Endo Nozzle with a matching plug and an appropriate C-R Syringe.
!2Wipe off the excess MetaSEAL Soft and debris from the C-R syringe with absorbent cotton or
gauze soaked with ethanol. The syringe is autoclavable after the cleaning in ultrasonic unit.
!3Spatura should be wiped clean with absorbent cotton or gauze immediately after the use.

1. Qu'est ce que MetaSEAL Soft?
MetaSEAL Soft est un ciment résine automordançant pour le scellement endodontique.
MetaSEAL Soft offre d'excellentes caractéristiques telles qu'une manipulation très facile,
une réelle biocompatibilité et un joint étanche.
Si la reprise du traitement est indiquée, il est facile de retirer le produit à l’inverse des autres
ciments endodontiques résineux. MetaSEAL Soft contient du 4-META*, un monomère
adhésif très performant capable de pénetrer au travers de la structure de la dent pour former
une interface solide à haut degré de polymérisation entre le ciment et les parois canalaires.
MetaSEAL Soft adhère aux cônes de gutta percha ainsi qu'aux autres cônes disponibles.

5.1 Precautions d’emploi
qN'utiliser MetaSEAL Soft que pour les applications décrites dans le mode d'emploi.
wMetaSEAL Soft est destiné à l’usage exclusif du chirurgien dentiste.
ele praticien doit porter des gants de protection.
rBien refermer immédiatement après usage le flacon de Liquide et le pot de Poudre.
Pour éviter la contamination, ne pas mélanger les composants ou intervertir les
bouchons. Jeter après usage les restes de produit. Ne pas réintroduire dans son
emballage d'origine un produit partiellement utilisé.
tToujours protéger les yeux durant l’usage de la lampe à photopolymériser.
Ne pas regarder directement la source de lumière.
yLes embouts intracanalaires sont à usage unique et ne sont pas stérilisables ni en
autoclave ni chimiquement. Il faut les jeter après chaque patient pour éviter toute
contamination croisée.
uNe pas immerger les embouts intracanalaires dans des produits chimiques tels que
de l’alcool pour une longue période pour eviter une degradation ou un degat.
iNe pas modifier les embouts intracanalaires.
oApres avoir rempli l’embout intracanalaire avec MetaSEAL Soft, l’utiliser durant 15mn.
5.2 Précautions importantes
qMetaSEAL Soft ne doit pas être utilisé par des praticiens ou des patients sensibilisés
au monomère de méthacrylate. Si des signes d'irritation tels qu'une rougeur
apparaissent, stopper l'utilisation du produit et consulter un médecin.
wMetaSEAL Soft contient du monomère méthacrylique acide. Eviter tout contact des
composants du MetaSEAL Soft avec les tissus mous, la peau, les yeux. La peau ou la
muqueuse contaminée doit être nettoyée à l'alcool et rincée abondamment à l'eau courante.
eSi des composants du MetaSEAL Soft entrent en contact avec l'oeil, rincer immédiatement
abondamment l'oeil à l'eau courante. Adresser le patient à un ophtalmologiste.
rVerifier la securité de l’embout intracanalaire avant de l’utiliser en cherchant un degat, une
fracture ou un dysfonctionnement.
tEviter tout contact de l’embout intracanalaire rempli de MetaSEAL Soft avec la muqueuse,
les tissus mous ou les
5.3 Stockage
qStocker le liquide et la poudre MetaSEAL Soft au refrigérateur (1˚C – 10˚C).
wConserver les embouts intracanalaires dans un endroit frais, sec, à l'abri de la
lumière, loin des sources de chaleur et d'humidité. Eviter les températures élevées,
le contact direct du soleil et une forte humidité.
Comme dans toute intervention dentaire, la constitution individuelle du patient
ainsi que les besoins du cas clinique doivent être pris en considération avant de
choisir les matériaux et les possibilités de leurs applications.
6. Comment utiliser MetaSEAL Soft
qPréparation des surfaces
Après l’elargissement canalaire, préparer le canal radiculaire selon les techniques
endodontiques conventionnelles telles que EDTA ou Hypochlorite de Sodium (NaClO).
Sécher le canal avec des pointes de papier, etc.
wApplication de MetaSEAL Soft
a) Dosage
• Déposer 1 goutte de Liquide et 1 cuillère de Poudre avec la cuillère de dosage sur
le bloc de mélange fourni et malaxer avec la spatule fournie.
• Pour obtenir un temps de travail jusqu'à 30 mn, protéger le mélange de la lumière.
b) Application AVEC l’embout intracanalaire
• Placer un stop caoutchouc sur l’embout intracanalaire si necéssaire.
Remplir l’embout avec le mélange MetaSEAL Soft et insérer le bouchon dans. l’embout
puis le placer sur une seringue *appropriée selon les instructions du fabricant.
*Mark I, Mark II, Mark III EZ, ou Mark III Snap-Fit de Centrix, Inc.
Appliquer MetaSEAL Soft sur toute la longueur du canal. Si nécessaire insérer
ensuite un ou plusieurs cônes de gutta percha en technique à froid. Ne pas utiliser
une technique de gutta chaude.
NOTE: MetaSEAL Soft est à polymérisation duale et le mélange peut durcir dans
l’embout s’il est placé sous la lumiere de la pièce ou un éclairage dentaire.
Protéger le mélange de la lumière avec le capot fourni et utiliser le dans les 15 minutes.
• Attendre la séance suivante pour continuer le traitement prévu.
Photopolymériser MetaSEAL Soft pendant plus de 20 secondes si vous désirez
une étanchéite coronaire immédiate.
b’) Application SANS l’embout intracanalaire
• Déposer dans le canal MetaSEAL Soft avec une pointe de gutta percha et finir
l’obturation en technique à froid. Ne pas utiliser une technique de gutta chaude.
• Attendre la séance suivante pour continuer le traitement prévu.
Photopolymeriser MetaSEAL Soft pendant plus de 20 secondes si vous desirez
une etancheite coronaire immédiate.
7. Pour obtenir les meilleurs résultats
ql’usage de la digue est recommandé.
wBien irriguer et sécher le canal avant l’usage.
Eviter toute contamination après séchage avec la salive ou le sang.
eNe pas modifier le ratio de mélange Poudre /Liquide.
Bien mélanger avec la spatule pour obtenir une pate homogène.
rMetaSEAL Soft debute sa prise avec la lumière. Utiliser le capot de protection fourni.
Respecter le temps de travail indiqué ci dessus.
tLa lumière fourni par un microscope endodontique impose l’usage d’un filtre orange.
yEviter le formation de bulles pendant le remplissage de l’embout intracanalaire.
uBien retirer tout medicament intracanalaire avant d’obturer avec MetaSEAL Soft.
iEviter de placer MetaSEAL Soft sur une perforation canalaire.
Toute perforation radiculaire doit être traitée avant d’utiliser MetaSEAL Soft.
oLes embouts intracanalaires ne sont pas stériles. Ils peuvent être nettoyés avec une
compresse imbibée d’ethanol à 70%. Ils ne sont pas autoclavables.
!0Avant tout usage en bouche verifier que le mélange est extrudé sans problème de
l’embout. Sinon changez l’embout intracanalaire.
!1Toujours utiliser l’embout intracanalaire avec le bouchon fourni et la seringue appropriée.
!2Bien nettoyer les excès et débris de MetaSEAL Soft sur la seringue avec un coton
absorbant ou une compresse imbibée d’éthanol. La seringue est autoclavable après un
nettoyage aux ultrasons.
!3La spatule doit être nettoyée immédiatement après usage avec un coton absorbant ou
une compresse.

MetaSEAL Soft enthält 4-META*, ein hochwirksames Adhäsivmonomer, das die

5. Vorsichtsmassnahmen: vor der Anwendung die Anleitung genau durchlesen
5.1 Gebrauchsmassnahmen
qMetaSEAL Soft nur für die empfohlenen Anwendungen in der Gegebrauchsanweisung
vervenden.
wMetaSEAL Soft ist nur für den Exklusiven verbrauch durch Zahnärzte gestattet.
eDer Zahnarzt sollte Schutzhandschuhe tragen.
rSofort nach Verbrauch das Flüssigkeitfläschchen und das Pulvertöpfchen wieder
dicht verschliessen. Um Kontamination zu vermeiden die Bestandteile nicht denen
anderer Materialien vermischen oder die Verschlüsse vertauschen. Nach Gebrauch
übrig gebliebenes Material entsorten. Einmal dosiertes Material nicht mehr in den
Originalbehälter zurückgeben.
tImmer die Augen schützen wärend der Photopolymerization. Nicht direkt in das
Liechtstrahl schauen.
yDie Intrakanalieschekanülen sind für einen einzelverbrauch vorgesehen und sind
nicht Sterilisierbar weder noch in Autoklav oder auf chemischer weise. Deswegen
sind sie zu entsorgen nach verbrauch um jede Kreuzkontamination zu verhindern.
uNicht die Intrakanalieschekanülen in Chemischeprodukte sowie Alkohol tauchen für
eine längere Zeit um eine Beschädingung oder ein defekt zu erreichen.
iIntrakanalieschekanülen nicht verändern.
oNach dem füllen der Intrakanalieschekanüle mit MetaSEAL Soft, diese innerhalb der
Arbeitszeit verbrauchen (15 Minuten).
5.2 Wichtigue Vorsichtsmassnahmen
qMetaSEAL Soft sollte weder von Behandlern noch an Patienten mit bekannter
Methacrylat-Überempfindlichkeit vervendet werden. Falls Zeichen der Irritation wie
Rötungen auftreten, ist die Anwendung unverzüglich einzustellen und ein Arzt aufsuchen.
wMetaSEAL Soft enthält saures Methacrylatmonomer. Vermeiden Sie kontakt der
MetaSEAL Soft Komponente mit Weichgewebe, Haut oder Augen. Kontaminierte
Haut oder Schleimhaut sollte unverzüglich mit Alkohol gereinigt und anschliessend
mit reichlich fliessendem Wasser abgespült werden.
eFalls MetaSEAL Soft Bestandteile ins Auge gelangen, sofort mit reichlich fliessendem
Wasser spülen. Danach sollte der Patient einen Augenarzt aussuchen.
rVor verbrauch die Sicherheit der Intrakanalieschekanüle überprüfen (defekt, bruch,
riss, Funktionsstörung).
tJeden kontakt der ausgefüllte MetaSEAL Soft Intrakanalieschekanüle mit der
Schleimhaut, den Weichgewebe oder den Augen verhindern.
5.3 Lagerung
qMetaSEAL Soft Flüssigkeit und Pulver im Kühlschrank Lagern (1˚C – 10˚C).
wDie Intrakanalieschekanülen in einer kühle, trockene und ausser Licht Stelle aufbewahren,
entfernt von Wärme und Feuchtigkeit Quellen. Hohe Temperaturen, direktes Sonnenlicht
und Feuchtigkeit vermeiden.
Wie bei jedem Zahnärzlichen eingriff, sollte die Individuelle Verfassung des Patienten,
sowohl auch das spezielle Verlangen dieses klinischen Falles in Betracht gezogen
werden bevor man die Materialien und die Möglichkeiten seiner Applikation auswählt.
6. Wie wird MetaSEAL Soft verwendet
qFlächen vorbereitung
Nach der Wurzelkanal Verbreitung, den Wurzelkanal in üblicher Weise aufbereiten
(sowie mit EDTA oder NaClO).
Den Kanal troknen mit Papierspitzen, usw.
wAuftragen von dem MetaSEAL Soft
a) Dosierung
• Tropfen Flüssigket und 1 Messlöffel Pulver auf den Mischblock geben und mit der
beilgelegte Spatel mischen.
• Um eine Arbeitszeit vis zu 30 Minuten zu erreichen, die Mischung mit dem
Lichtschutzdeckel zudecken.
b) Auftragung MIT der Intrakanalieschekanüle
• Wenn nötig ein Gummiverschluss auf die Intrakanalieschekanüle aufsetzen.
Die Kanüle mit MetaSEAL Soft einfüllen und nachdem den Deckel aufsetzen,
danach das gesamte auf eine spritze einsetzen* sowie die bevorzugungen von dem
Hersteller.

MetaSEAL Soft auf die gesamte länge des Kanals auftragen. Wenn nötig eine oder
mehrere Guttaperchaspitzen einsetzen nach der kalte Obturationstechnik. Nicht eine
heisse Guttaperchatechnik benutzen.
ANMERKUNG: MetaSEAL Soft ist Dual Polymerizirend und die Mischung kann in
der Eintragekanüle Aushärten wenn sie in dem Praxislicht oder dem
Dental-Arbeitslicht beleuchtet sind. Die Mischung mit dem Lichtschutzdekel
zudeken und in den 15 Minuten benutzen.

qDer Gebrauch von Kofferdam wird empfohlen.
wDen Kanal gut bewässern und trocknen vor fortsetzung. Nach trocknung jede
verseuchung durch Speichel oder Blut verhindern.
eNicht das Mischverhältnis zwischen Pulver/Flüssigkeit ändern. Mit dem Spatel zu einer
homogenen Masse verführen.
rMetaSEAL Soft beginnt seine Abbindung unter Licht verwenden. Sie den beigelegten
Lichtschutzdeckel. Beachten Sie die über indizierte Arbeitszeit.
tDas gegebene Licht durch ein Endodontischen Mikroskop erfordert den Gerbrauch von
einem Orangen Filter.
yVermeiden Sie die Bildung von Blasen wärend der ausfüllung der Intrakanalieschekanüle.
uJedes Wurzelfüllungs Medikament entfernen bevor dem gebrauch von MetaSEAL Soft.
iVermeiden Sie MetaSEAL Soft auf einen Kanalischen durchbruch zu benutzen.
Jeder Kanalischen durchbruch sollte behandelt werden bevor benutzung von
MetaSEAL Soft.
oSie können mit einer 70% getränkte Ethanol Kompresse gereinigt werden. Sie sind
nicht Autoclavbar.
!0Vor jeder Benutzung im Munde überprüfen Sie das die Mischung ohne Problem aus der
Intrakanalischekanüle korekt heraus fliesst. Anderfalls die Kanüle ersetzen.
!1Immer die beigelegten Intrakanalischekanüle mit dem Deckel und die geeignete Spritze
benutzen.
!2Sorgentlich die Überschüsse und die Scherben entfernen und reinigen auf der
geeignete Spritze.
!3Die Spatel sofort nach bedarf mit einer saugfähige Watte oder eine Kompresse.

1. Cosa è MetaSEAL Soft
MetaSEAL Soft è un cemento resina, automordenzante, per otturazioni canalari.
MetaSeal Soft è dotato di eccellenti caratteristiche, quali l’estrema facilità di impiego,
biocompatibilità e sigillatura stagna.
In caso occorra rifare il trattamento, è facile togliere il prodotto al contrario di altri cementi
endodontici resinosi.
Meta SEAL Soft contiene 4-META*, un monomero fortemente adesivo molto efficace
capace di penetrare attraverso la struttura del dente per formare un’interfaccia solida ad
alto grado di polimerizzazione tra il cemento e le pareti canalari. MetaSEAL Soft aderisce
ai coni di guttaperca ed a altri coni disponibili in commercio.

5. Precauzioni: Prima dell’uso leggere attentamente le istruzioni.
5.1 Precauzioni di impiego
qUtilizzare MetaSEAL Soft solamente nelle applicazioni descritte nel foglietto illustrativo.
wMetaSEAL Soft è destinato all’uso esclusivo del dentista.
eIl dentista deve mettere i guanti di protezione.
rFermare bene immediatemente dopo luso il flacone di liquido ed il barattolino di
polvere. Per evitare la contaminazione, non mescolare i componenti o scambiare i
tappi. Gettare dopo l’uso i resti del prodotto. Non reintrodurre nella sua confezione
d'origine un prodotto parzialmente utilizzato.
tProteggere sempre gli occhi durante l’uso della lampada di fotopolimerizzazione.
Non guardare direttamente la sorgente della luce.
yGli imbuti intracanalari sono a dosaggio unico e non sono sterilizzabili nè in
autoclave ne chimicamente. Occorre gettarli dopo ogni paziente per evitare qualsiasi
contaminazione crociata.
uNon immergere gli imbuti intracanalari in prodotti chimici quali l’alcool per un lungo
periodo per evitare un degrado o un danno.
iNon modificare gli imbuti intracanalari.
oDopo aver riempito l’imbuto intracanalare con MetaSEAL Soft, utilizzarlo entro 15 mn.
5.2 Precauzioni importante
qMetaSEAL Soft non va impiegato da dentisti o su pazienti con sensibilità ai
monomeri di metacrilato. Se dovessero comparire segni di irritazione, quale rossore,
interrompere immediatamente l’uso e consultare un medico.
wMetaSEAL Soft contiene monomero acido di metacrilato. Evitare il contatto dei
componenti di MetaSEAL Soft con i tessuti molli, cute o occhi. La cute o le mucose
contaminate devono essere immediatamente ripulite con alcol e quindi lavate
abbondantemente e completamente con una copiosa quantità di acqua corrente.
eFar visitare il paziente da un oftalmologo.
rVerificare la sicurezza dell’imbuto intracanalare prima di utilizzarlo cercando un
danno, una frattura o un disfunzionamento.
tEvitare qualsiasi contatto dell’imbuto intracanalare riempito di MetaSEAL Soft con la
mucosa, i tessuti molli o gli occhi.
5.3 Immagazzinamento
qConservare il liquido e la polvere di MetaSEAL Soft in frigorifero (1˚C – 10˚C).
wConservare gli imbuti intracanalari in un luogo asciutto, fresco e al buio, lontano da
fonti di calore e di umidità. Evitare le alte temperature e umidità, e la diretta
esposizione alla luce solare.
Come per qualsiasi trattamento odontoiatrico, prima di selezionare i materiali e
le tecniche d’uso, valutare la costituzione individuale del paziente e le specifiche
esigenze del caso clinico.
6. Come utilizzare MetaSEAL Soft
qPreparazione delle superfici
Prima dell’applicazione di MetaSEAL Soft, preparare i canali radicolari da otturare utilizzando
le tecniche endodontiche convenzionali quali l’EDTA o l’Ipoclorito di Sodio (NaClO).
Asciugare il canale con punte di carta, ecc.
wApplicazione del MetaSEAL Soft
a) Dosaggio
• Versare 1 goccia di liquido e 1 misurino di polvere su un blocco miscelatore.
• Con una spatola, miscelare e incorporare completamente i componenti fino ad
ottenere un composto di consistenza omogenea.
• Per estendere il tempo di lavorazione fino a 30 minuti, proteggere la miscela dalla luce.
b) Applicazione CON imbuto intracanalare
• Mettere uno stop di gomma sull’imbuto intracanalare se necessario.
• Riempire l’imbuto con la miscela di MetaSEAL Soft e inserire il tappo nell’imbuto. Poi
collocarlo su una siringa appropriata seguendo le istruzioni del produttore.*

Nota: MetaSEAL Soft funziona a polimerizzazione duale e la miscela può indurire
nell’imbuto se è applicato alla luce della stanza o alla lampada operatoria del riunito.
Proteggere la miscela della luce con la copertura fornita ed utilizzarla nei 15 minuti.
• Applicare MetaSEAL per tutta la lunghezza del canale.
• Se necessario inserire in seguito uno o più coni di guttaperca utilizzando la tecnica
di condensazione a freddo. Non utilizzare una tecnica a caldo.
• Attendere la seduta successiva per continuare il trattamento previsto.
Fotopolimerizzare MetaSEAL Soft per più di 20 secondi se si desidera una
stagnazione coronale immediata.
b’) Applicazione SENZA l’imbuto intracanalare
• Deporre dentro il canale MetaSEAL Soft con una punta di guttaperga e finire
l’otturazione in tecnica a fredda. Non utilizzare una tecnica di gutta a caldo.
• Attendere la seduta successiva per continuare il trattamento previsto.
Fotopolimerizzare MetaSEAL Soft per più di 20 secondi se si desidera una
stagnazione coronale immediata.
7. Per ottenere i migliori risultati
qSi raccomanda l’uso della diga.
wIrrigare bene e asciugare il canale prima dell’uso del prodotto. Evitare qualsiasi
contaminazione dopo aver asciugato la saliva o il sangue.
eNon modificare il rapporto di miscelazione Polvere /Liquido. Mescolare bene con la
spatola per ottenere una pasta omogenea.
rMetaSEAL Soft inizia la sua presa con la luce. Utilizzare la copertura di protezione
fornita. Rispettare i tempi di lavoro indicati sopra.
tLa luce fornita da un microscopio endodontico richiede l’uso d’un filtro arancione.
yEvitare la formazione di bolle durante il riempimento dell’imbuto intracanalare.
uTogliere accuratamente tutto il medicamento intracanalare prima d’otturare con
MetaSEAL Soft.
iEvitare di collocare MetaSEAL Soft su una perforazione canalare. Ogni perforazione
radicolare deve essere trattata prima di utilizzare MetaSEAL Soft.
oGli imbuti intracanalari non sono sterilizzati: possono essere puliti con una garza
imbevuta d’etanolo a 70%. Non sono autoclavabili.
!0Prima di qualsiasi uso in bocca verificare che la miscela sia estrusa senza problemi
dall’imbuto. Altrimenti cambiare l’imbuto intracanalare.
!1Utilizzare sempre l’imbuto intracanalare con tappo fornito nella confezione e la siringa
appropriata.
!2Pulire bene gli eccessi e i residui di MetaSEAL Soft sulla siringa con cotone assorbente
o garza imbevuta d’etanolo. La siringa è autoclavabile dopo una pulizia agli ultrasuoni.
!3La spatola deve essere pulita immediatamente dopo l’uso con cotone assorbente o garza.

1. Que es MetaSEAL Soft?
MetaSEAL Soft es un cemento de resina de auto grabado para el sellado de conductos
radiculares. MetaSEAL Soft ofrece excellentes caracteristicas, es muy facil de manipular,
es realmente biocompatible y su capacidad de sellado es muy alta.
Si es necesario volver a hacer el tratamiento, es muy facil de retirar el producto, al
contrario de otros cementos resinosos. MetaSEAL Soft contiene 4-META*, que es un
monomero adhesivo de alto rendimiento, capaz de penetrar a traves de la estructura del
diente formando una capa solida de un alto grado de polimerizacion entre el cemento y
las paredes radiculares. MetaSEAL Soft adhiere a las puntas de gutapercha asi como a
otras puntas.

4. Propiedades
eSi los componentes del MetaSEAL Soft entran en los ojos, aclarar inmediatamente
con agua corriente y ver un Oftalmologo.
rVerificar los embudos antes de usarlos y ver si no estan rotos o fracturados.
tEvitar el contacto con el embudo lleno de MetaSEAL Soft con la mucosa, tejidos y ojos.
5.3 Almacenaje
qAlmacenar el liquido y el polvo MetaSEAL Soft en la nevera (1˚C – 10˚C).
wConservar los embudos radiculares en un lugar seco, fresco y protejido de la luz y
de los lugares calientes y humedos. Evitar las temperaturas elevadas, el contacto
directo con el sol y la humedad.
Como en toda intervencion dental. La constitucion individual del paciente asi como
las necesidades de cada caso clinico tienen que ser tomadas en consideracion
antes de escoger los materiales y las posibilidades de su aplicacion.
6. Como utilizar MetaSEAL Soft
qPreparacion de las superficies
Despues de alargar el canal, prepararlo segun las tecnicas de endodoncia
convencionales tales como EDTA o NaCIO. Secar el canal con las puntas de papel, etc.
wAplicacion de MetaSEAL Soft:
a) Dosis
• Poner 1 gota de liquido y 1 cuchara de polvo con la cuchara sobre el bloc para
mezclas incluido y amasar con la espatula gris.
• Para obtener un tiempo de trabajo de 30 min, proteger la mezcla de la luz.
b) Aplicacion CON el embudo radicular
• Poner un stop de goma en el embudo radicular si es necesario.
Rellenar el embudo con la mezcla MetaSEAL Soft y colocar el tapon en el mismo y
colocarlo en un jeringa, * apropiada segun las instrucciones del fabricante.
*Mark I, Mark II, Mark III EZ o Mark III Snap-Fit de Centrix, Inc.
• Aplicar MetaSEAL Soft en todo lo largo del canal. Si es necesario incluir un o varias
puntas de gutapercha en tecnica fria. No utilizar una tecnica de gutapercha caliente.
NOTA: MetaSEAL Soft es de polimerizacion dual y la mezcla puede endurecerse
si se coloca bajo la luz o una lampara. Proteger la mezcla de la luz con la cubierta
incluida y utilizar en los 15 min que siguen.
• Esperar la sesion siguiente para continuar el tratamiento previsto. Polimerizar
MetaSEAL Soft durante 20 segundos mas si ud desea una fraguado coronario
inmediato.
b’) Aplicacion SIN el embudo radicular
• Aplicar en el canal MetaSEAL Soft con una punta de gutapercha y terminar la
obsturacion con una tecnica al frio. No utilizar una tecnica de guta caliente.
• Esperar la sesion siguiente para continuar el tratamiento previsto. Polimerizar
MetaSEAL Soft durante 20 segundos mas si ud desea una fraguado coronario
inmediato.
7. Para obtener los mejores resultados
qEl uso de diga es aconsejado.
wBien irrigar y secar el canal antes de usarlo. Evite toda contaminacion despues de
secar con la saliva o la sangre.
eNo modificar la mezcla de liquido /polvo. Mezcle bien con la espatula para hacer una
textura homogena.
rMetaSEAL Soft inicia su toma con la luz. Utilizar la cubierta de proteccion incluida.
Respetar el tiempo de trabajo indicado.
tLa luz emitida por un microscopio endodontico impone el uso de un filtro naranja.
yEvite la formacion de bolas durante el rellenado del embudo radicular.
uRetirar completamente todo medicamento radicular antes de obsturar con MetaSEAL Soft.
iEvitar de poner MetaSEAL Soft en una perforacion radicular. Las perforaciones radiculares
deben repararse adecuadamente antes de la obturaction con el MetaSEAL Soft.
oLos conos radiculares no son esteriles. Pueden limpiarse con una compresa
impregnada de Ethanol a 70%. No se pueden meter en auto clave.
!0Antes de usarla en la boca verificar que la mezcla esta introducida sin problemas en el
embudo, sino cambielo.
!1Utilizar siempre un embudo radicular con el tapon icluido y la jeringa apropiada.
!2Limpiar perfectamente el exceso de MetaSEAL Soft de la jeringa con algodon absorbente o
compresa impregnada de ethanol. La jeringa es auto clavable despues de ser limpiada al
ultrasonido.
!3La espatula se tiene que limpiar inmediatamente despues de usarla con un algodon
absorbente o una compresa.

Tiempo de trabajo 30 min (con la cubierta de proteccion anti-luz)
Tiempo de fraguado: alrededor de 4 horas
5. Precauciones: Lea atentamente las instrucciones antes de usarlo.
5.1 Precauciones de uso
qNo utilizar MetaSEAL Soft que solamente para las aplicaciones indicadas en el modo
de empleo.
wMetaSEAL Soft esta destinado al uso exclusivo de Odontologos.
eEl practicante tiene que usar guantes.
rCerrar inmediatamente el frasco del liquido y el polvo despues de su uso, Para
evitar la contaminacion y nos mezclar los componentes o intervertir las tapas, Tirar
despues de su uso los restos de producto. Jamas reintroducir un producto utilizado
en su embalaje de origen.
tSiempre proteger los ojos durante el uso de la lampara a polimerizar, No mire
directamente la fuente de luz.
yLos embudos radiculares son a uso unico y no se esterilizan, ni en autoclave ni
quimicamente. Hay que tirarlos despues de cada paciente y evitar toda contaminacion.
uNo hundir los embudos radiculares en productos quimicos tales como el alcohol por
un largo periodo para evitar toda degradacion.
iNo modificar los embudos radiculares.
oDespues de haber llenado el embudo con MetaSEAL Soft utilizarlo en 15 min, su
tiempo de trabajo.
5.2 Precauciones Importantes
qMetaSEAL Soft no debe ser utilizado por Odontologos ni por pacientes que son
sensibles al monomero de metacrilato. Si aparecen signos de irritacion tales como
enrojecimiento de la zona, suspenda su uso y consulte al medico.
wMetaSEAL Soft contiene monomero de acido de metacrilato. Evite el contacto de
los componentes del MetaSEAL Soft con tejidos blandos, la piel y los ojos, La piel o
la mucosa contaminada debe limpiarse con alcohol y aclararse con abundante agua.
