Cher(e)s collègues JETs,
Permettez-nous d’abord de souhaiter la bienvenue aux nouveaux
arrivant(e)s, nous vous félicitons pour votre sélection en tant que JET car
nous savons à quel point la sélection est sévère pour les Français(es).
Nous sommes deux, Marion Lagan (ALT en 2ème année) et Djamel
Rabahi (CIR en 2ème année), à occuper le poste de « Self-support Group
Leader » (SGL) pour les JETs français(es). Si vous avez besoin d’aide, d’un
conseil, d’une oreille pour vous écouter, ou simplement pour parler français,
nous sommes là pour ça. Chaque situation et chaque poste de JET sont
différents, mais nous ferons de notre mieux pour vous aider.
En tant que JETs, nous organisons et participons à divers
événements franco-japonais à travers le pays, et cette année nous avons la
chance d’être là pour célébrer le 150ème anniversaire des relations
franco-japonaises. Il ne reste que 5 mois mais nous comptons sur votre
participation !!!
Un site et un forum sponsorisés par le CLAIR Paris existent et
permettent aux JETs francophones de pouvoir rester en contact, s’échanger
des tuyaux à propos du travail ou de la vie quotidienne. On peut aussi y
déverser sa colère ou y étaler ses problèmes, cela fait toujours du bien d’en
parler ! Mais surtout n'hesitez pas a nous contacter par email (les SGL)
pour toute question.

Dear JET co-workers,
First, we would like to welcome you to Japan and congratulate you
on your acceptance to the JET Programme. We know how harsh the
selection process is for French people…
This year, the two « Self-support Group Leaders » for the French
JETs are Marion Lagan (2nd year ALT) and Djamel Rabahi (2nd year CIR).
If you need any help, any advice, just want to speak French or just need
someone to listen, we’re here for you. We realize every situation is
different in JET, but we’ll do our best to help you.
As JETs, we organize and participate in many French-Japanese
events, throughout the whole country. This year, we’ll celebrate the 150th
anniversary of the relationships between France and Japan, so we count on
your participation !!!
This year, an official website for the French speaking JETs,
sponsored by CLAIR Paris, has been created. Using this website, we’ll be
able to exchange information and keep in contact no matter the distance.
