Assumption of Mary
The fact that we celebrate God in the beauty of his creation may prompt us to
thank him for all his gifts, for our life and our health,
and pray for those who are sick or elderly.
The Feast of the Assumption of Mary is the celebration of her entry into heaven
with her body and soul, a promise of what awaits us,
but also a reminder of the value of our earthly physical life
and of the due respect that we should have for it.
Let us rejoice and be glad!

Assomption de la Vierge Marie
Bienvenue à tous à la grotte de Saint-Malo, et en particulier
à Mgr Albert LeGatt qui péside le pèlerinage annuel.
Pèlerins, nous le sommes aujourd’hui. En cheminement, nous le
sommes tous les jours. Nous nous déplaçons aujourd’hui pour voir
les choses autrement, et jeter un nouveau regard sur notre vie
chrétienne.
Nous célébrons le Seigneur dans la beauté de la création, essayant de le découvrir davantage
dans toute sa grandeur et sa vitalité…
et prier aussi pour la guérison de quelqu’un peut-être.
Ensuite, la fête de l’Assomption nous donne de célébrer l’entrée au ciel de la Vierge Marie
avec toute la personne qu’elle était, corps et âme.
Ce jour que fit le Seigneur est un jour de joie, alléluia!
Famine : Développement et Paix acheminera de l’aide à l’Afrique
On estime que la pire sécheresse à frapper la Corne de l’Afrique au cours des 60
dernières années expose actuellement 10 millions de personnes à de graves pénuries
alimentaires et à la famine.
Le réseau Caritas, dont fait partie l’organisme des évêques canadiens, fait des
préparatifs en vue de secourir les populations qui en ont le plus besoin.
Développement et Paix accepte donc des dons qui permettront d’acheminer des secours
d’urgence dans la région.
Si vous voulez faire un don monétaire, vous pouvez faire un chèque directement à
Développement et Paix et la Paroisse acheminera votre don à Développement et Paix.
