Simon Porte JACQUEMUS takes us to Provence, where he was born and the inspiration for his 2017
Spring-Summer collection. A modern catwalk-story told in Pagnol style where emotion and poetry
intertwine in silhouettes whose volumes have been skilfully orchestrated, with the occasional straw hat
recalling the form of a hot sun, the sun of the Mediterranean. A moment of grace under the shimmering
projectors, a final podium of all the silhouettes, the clan JACQUEMUS, produced by Alexandre de Betak,
who also loves Marseilles. A taste of what is to come with the OPENMYMED, where JACQUEMUS will be
the guest of honour at the festival created by the Maison Méditerranéenne des Métiers de la Mode
(MMMM). His universe will be on show in Marseilles at the MAC (Musée d'Art
Contemporain-Contemporary Art Museum) and the MuCEM, starting in May 2017.
