Concerne : Procédure pour le changement de nationalité pour cadets, juniors et seniors approuvée
par le Congrès de Moscou
Madame, Monsieur,
Un dossier complet comprenant tous les Règlement FILA ainsi que les Statuts est en cours
d’impression et vous le recevrez d’ici quelques semaines par courrier prioritaire.
En attendant, voici les grandes lignes du règlement FILA concernant le changement de nationalité, qui
a été approuvé lors du Congrès de Moscou en septembre dernier.
Chaque lutteur qui souhaite changer de nationalité pour pratiquer le sport de la lutte dans un autre
pays doit en faire la demande écrite motivée à la FILA.
Cette demande doit être accompagnée :
• d’une attestation de son ancienne Fédération accordant le départ du lutteur demandeur
• d’une attestation de la nouvelle Fédération d’accueil
• d’une copie du contrat qui lie le lutteur à sa nouvelle Fédération
• d’une copie de son nouveau et de son ancien passeport
• du payement à la FILA d’une taxe pour changement de nationalité de CHF 5'000.Le lutteur qui change de nationalité ne pourra lutter pour son nouveau pays qu’après un délai d’attente
de deux ans à compter de la date de sa dernière participation à un Tournoi de qualification des Jeux
Olympiques ou aux Jeux Olympiques, aux Championnats et Coupes du Monde, aux Championnats et
Jeux Universitaires, Championnats et Jeux Militaires, Championnats et Jeux continentaux.
Durant cette période de deux ans, le lutteur est autorisé à participer aux tournois internationaux sous
les couleurs de son nouveau pays à condition d’avoir reçu son nouveau passeport mais pas aux
compétitions mentionnées au chapitre précédent.
Un pays ne pourra accueillir un lutteur étranger qui demande le changement de nationalité qu’à raison
d’un seul lutteur par style de lutte et par an.
Un lutteur qui n’aura pas obtenu l’accord de la FILA pour son changement de nationalité ne pourra
pas lutter pour son nouveau pays même s’il a obtenu la nationalité.

Subject : Procedure to follow for the change of nationality – cadets, juniors, seniors – approved at the
Moscow FILA Congress.
Dear Madam, Dear Sir,
The complete file containing FILA Statutes as well as all FILA Rules is currently being printed, and will
be sent to you within a few weeks. In the meantime, we are sending you the procedure for the change
of nationality, which has been approved at the FILA Congress in Moscow last September.
A wrestler who wishes to change his/her nationality to wrestler in another country shall request
permission in writing to FILA.
The permission must contain :
• a certificate from his/her former Federation granting the departure of the wrestler
• a certificate from his/her new Federation
• a copy of the contract with his/her new Federation
• a copy of his/her new and former passport
• the payment to FILA of CHF 5'000.- fee for the change of nationality.
The wrestler who changes his/her nationality shall not compete for his/her new country before a two
years period starting from the date of his/her last participation to an Olympic Qualification Tournament
or to Olympic Games, World Championships, World Cups, University Championships and Games,
Military Championships and Games, Continental Championships and Games.
During this period, the wrestler is authorized to compete in international tournaments with his/her new
country and club in the condition he/she has received the new passport, but not in competitions
mentioned in the previous paragraph.
A country may induct a foreign wrestler requesting his/her new nationality at the rate of one wrestler
per style and per year.
A wrestler who has not received FILA agreement for the change of nationality may not compete for
his/her new country even if he/she has obtained the new nationality. Any incomplete file will not be
taken into consideration.
