Vive la France!
Last month, the French students joined
Madame Isabelle’s family to watch the
Blazers basketball game at the
Portland Moda Center.
This month, in celebration of La Chandeleur,
there will be a Crêpe Night hosted in the
Foxhole at 7pm on February 12th. Join us for
a night of fellowship and pancake goodness.
The French Club is sponsoring any students and
members who are interested in going to the
Cœur de Pirate concert at the Aladdin
Theater on February 23rd. Tickets can be
purchased at: Ticketfly.com. Alcohols will not
be served, but for safety and security reasons,
the theater requires that minors under 21 must
be accompanied by parents, aunts, grandpas, or
anyone older than 30 years of age. Half of ticket
cost will be reimbursed with proof of purchase

information).
Submissions for the International Photo
Contest will be up for voting all day in Hoover
lobby on February 19th. Come by and vote for
your favorite photos, or your own photos!
The French Department has partnered with
SPIL to sponsor a Spring Serve Trip to Haiti in
2017. Interested? Come to the Info Meeting
hosted by Jacques St Gelus and Isabelle
Corneaux (our coordinators) at 5pm in
Minthorn Basement on February 22nd for
more information.
