medical attention immediately.
•Never expose the batteries to
excessive heat, such as sunshine,
fire or the like. This can increase the
risk of leakage. Non-compliance
with this information may lead
to damage and, under certain
circums tances, even explosion of
the batteries.
•Promptly remove an empty
battery from the Runtastic Speed
& Cadence Sensor. Otherwise,
it runs the risk of leaking. If a
battery is leaking, avoid contact
with your skin, eyes, and mucous
membranes. Immediately rinse all
parts of your body that came into
contact with battery acid with
plenty of clean water and seek
medical attention. If required,
clean the ba ttery contacts and
mating contacts in the device.
Keep the instruction manual in a
safe place to be able to look up
information, including battery
information. Non-compliance with
these notes may lead to damage
and, under certain circums tances,
even explosion of the batteries.

GETTING STARTED
1. Installation of Runtastic
Bike App and activation code
Copy the link provided below into
the address bar of your browser to
open Runtastic.com. There you can
get step-by-step help and ins tructions on entering your activation
code. Runtastic.com/activate
You may also scan the QR code below. In order to be able to use this
feature, you need to have previously
downloaded the free app from the
appropriate app store, and then you
can scan these types of codes. Now,
scan the QR code and follow the
instructions on Runtastic.com.
In order to use your Runtastic Speed
& Cadence Sensor you must activate
your Bluetooth interface and the
sensors in the Bike App.
2. Connecting the Speed &
Cadence Sensor to your
smartphone
Open the Runtastic Bike app and
go to the Settings screen. Make
sure that Bluetooth Smart is
enabled on your smartphone and
connect your Speed & Cadence
Sensor in the Settings. To activate
your Speed & Cadence Sensor
take either the spoke or the pedal
magnet and move it across the corresponding marks on the Speed &
Cadence Sensor, with a maximum
distance of 4 – 5 mm between
sensor and magnet.
Once successfully activated the color
of the symbols for speed and cadence
on the display of your smartphone will
change from orange to green.
If activation fails, select “Unpair all
sensors” and repeat the activation
process. In addition, you can deactivate and then reactivate the Bluetooth
signal in your phone settings.
3. Assembly of the Runtastic
Speed & Cadence Sensor
We recommend attaching the Runtastic Speed & Cadence Sensor to the
stay of your bike (see figure on the
next page)

your bicycle, slightly loosen the
screws with an Allen key. Now you
can adjust the two parts for ideal
positioning. When you are finished,
tighten the screws again.
STORAGE
Do not expose the Runtastic Speed
& Cadence Sensor to excessve sunlight over an extended period.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
Open the battery compartment
cover with a coin by turning it
counterclockwise. Remove the old
battery and insert a new 3V battery
(type CR2032).
Always ensure that the positive
pole (+) is facing upwards.
Refit the battery cover and lock
it by turning it clockwise. Ensure
that the cover is securely closed
to prevent moisture from entering
the Runtastic Speed & Cadence
Sensor.

2. Verbindung de s Speed &
Cadence Sensor s mit deinem
Smartphone
Öffne die Runtastic Bike App und
gehe in die Einstellungen. Stell sicher,
dass auf deinem Smartphone Bluetooth Smart aktiviert ist und verbinde
deinen Speed & Cadence Sensor in
den Einstellungen. Für die Aktivierung
des Speed & Cadence Sensors nimmst
du entweder den Speichen- oder den
Pedalmagnet in die Hand und bewegst
diesen über die jeweilige Markierung
am Speed & Cadence Sensor. Beachte
einen maximalen Abstand zwischen
Sensor und Magnet von 4–5 mm.

Bei erfolgreicher Aktivierung
wechselt am Display deines Smartphones die Farbe der Symbole für
Geschwindigkeit und Trittfrequenz
von orange auf grün.
Wenn die Aktivierung nicht geklappt hat, wähle „Sensoren
trennen“ und führe die Aktivierung
noch einmal durch. Zusätzlich
kannst du auch vorher Bluetooth
in den Telefoneinstellungen deaktivieren und anschließend wieder
aktivieren.

Wir empfehlen dir, den Runtastic
Speed & Cadence Sensor an der
Unterstrebe deines Rades zu
befestigen (siehe nachstehende
Abbildung).
Führe die Kabelbinder durch die
Öffnungen des Runtastic Speed &
Cadence Sensors. Montiere den
Sensor an der Unterstrebe, sodass
das Runtastic Logo nach außen
zeigt. Befestige die Kabelbinder
locker und ziehe sie noch nicht
ganz fest.

HINWEIS: Der Speed & Cadence
Sensor besteht aus zwei Teilen. Um
eine optimale Montage auf deinem
Fahrrad zu gewährleisten, kannst
du mit einem Inbusschlüssel den
Schrauben etwas lockern. Dadurch
ist es möglich, die beiden Teile auf
die optimale Position einzustellen.
Danach drehe den Schrauben
wieder fest.
LAGERUNG
Setze den Runtastic Speed &
Cadence Sensor nicht über einen
längeren Zeitraum starker Sonneneinstrahlung aus.
BATTERIEWECHSEL
Öffne den Batteriefachdeckel mit
einer Münze, indem du ihn gegen
den Uhrzeigersinn drehst. Entnimm
die alte Batterie und lege eine
neue 3V-Batterie (Typ CR2032) ein.
Achte unbedingt darauf, dass der
Pluspol (+) nach oben zeigt.

UTILISATION DE LA
BATTERIE
Votre capteur de vitesse & cadence Runtastic utilise une batterie
au lithium (3V, CR2032). Quelques
informations utiles concernant
l’usage de la batterie :
•Ne remplacez la batterie que par
une batterie de même puissance
et de même qualité.
•La batterie ne doit pas être
rechargée ou réactivée par
d’autres moyens; elle ne doit pas
être ouverte, jetée dans un feu
ou court-circuitée. Conservez
toujours la batterie ainsi que
l’appareil en dehors de la portée
des enfants. En cas d’avalement,
la batterie peut entraîner la mort.
En cas d’avalement, contactez
immédiatement un médecin.
•N‘exposez jamais la batterie à
une chaleur excessive (rayons
du soleil, feu ou autre source de
chaleur). Il existe un risque élevé de fuite. Sices consignes ne
sont pas respectées, la batterie
risque d‘être endommagée, voire
d‘exploser.
•Retirez immédiatement la
batterie usagée du capteur de
vitesse & cadence pour éviter
tout écoulement. Dans ce cas,
évitez le contact avec les yeux,
la peau et les muqueuses. Rincez
immédiatement et abondamment
à l’eau claire les endroits entrés
en contact avec l’acide de la
batterie et faites immédiatement
appel à un médecin. Si besoin,
nettoy ez les contacts de la
batterie à l’intérieur du capteur.
Conservez le mode d’emploi
dans un endroit précisafin de
pouvoir consulter ultérieurement
les instructions relatives à la
batterie. Le non-respect de ces
indications peut entraîner des
dommages et parfois même
l’explosion de la batterie.

MISE EN ROUTE
1. Installation d’une des applications vélo Runtastic et du
code d’activation
Copiez le lien ci-dessous et collezle dans la barre de votre navigateur
pour arriver directement sur Runtastic.com. Vous pouvez ensuite suivre les instructions pas à pas pour
utiliser votre code d’activation.

Ou scannez le code QR ci-dessous
à l’aide de votre smartphone pour
ouvrir la page. Pour pouvoir utiliser
cette fonction, vous devez auparavant télécharger l’application gratuite vous permettant de lire ce code.
Une fois le code scanné, suivez les
instructions sur Runtastic.com.
Pour pouvoir utiliser votre capteur
de vitesse & cadence, vous devez
activer votre Bluetooth et les capteurs dans une des a pplications
vélo Runtastic.
2. Connectez le capteur de
vitesse & cadence à votre
smartphone
Démarrez une des applications
vélo Runtastic et allez dans le
menu. Choisissez « capteurs » puis
« capteurs » à nouveau. Choisissez
ensuite la troisième option :
« Bluetooth Smart ». Pour activer
le capteur, prenez soit le capteur
du rayon soit celui de la pédale
et faites le bouger devant le capteur
à une distance maximum de 5 millimètres.
Une fois l’activation réussie, la couleur
du symbole du capteur sur l’écran de
votre smartphone passera du orange
au vert. Si l’activation n’a pas fonctionné, choisissez « Déconnecter tous
les capteurs » et recommencez l’activa
tion. Vous pouvez également dés
activer et réactiver le signal Bluetooth
de votre smartphone.

3. Fixage du capteur de
vitesse & cadence
Nous vous recommandons d’attacher
votre capteur sur le cadre au niveau
de la chaine de votre vélo.
Faites passer le câble par les ouvertures prévues à cet effet sur le
capteur. Fixez le capteur sur la base
de manière à ce que le logo Runtastic soit en face de vous. Attachez les
câbles de fixation mais ne serrez
pas trop fort pour le moment.
Positionnez l’a imant sur l’un des
rayons de la roue de manière à
ce qu’il soit au niveau du capteur.
Fixez l’aimant sur le rayon avec les
câbles mais ne les serrez pas trop
pour le moment.
Pour pouvoir fixer l’aimant à pédale correctement, vous devez
tout d’abord démonter la pédale.
Ensuite, positionnez l’aimant en
fonction de la position du capteur.
Puis remontez la pédale.
Ajustez la position de l’aimant sur
le rayon pour que l’aimant passe
tout près du capteur (mais sans le
toucher !). Gardez une distance minimum de 4-5 mm entre le capteur
et l’aimant. Al ignez le capteur et
l’aimant le plus possible.
STOCKAGE
NOTE: Le capteur est compos é de
2 parties. Pour avoir une fixation
optimale, vous pouvez desserrer
les visses avec une clé Allen.
Vous pourrez ainsi ajuster les deux
parties pour un position nement
parfait. Une fois fini, revissez pour
que la fixation tienne.
Ouvrez le couvercle recouvrant le
compartiment de la batterie en
le débloquant avec une pièce de
monnaie. Tournez dans le sens
inverse des aiguilles d’une montre.
Enlevez la batterie usagée et
insérez une nouvelle batterie de 3V
(type CR2032). Assurez-vous que le
pole + soit placé du côté intérieur.
Replacez le couvercle et fermez-le
Ne laissez pas le capteur de vitesse
& cadence en plein soleil pendant
une période trop longue.
REMPLACEMENT DE LA
BATTERIE
en tournant cette fois dans le sens
des aiguilles d’une montre. Cela
protègera la batterie d’un risque
d’humidité.
