BONNE FÊTE DES MÈRES
A toutes les mamans de la
paroisse... Une maman, c’est un vrai
cadeau du Ciel. Sachons le
reconnaître encore une fois à
l’occasion de la Fête des Mères, ce dimanche.
A HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY
To all mothers in our parish.... A
mother is truly a most beautiful
gift from God. May we all
acknowledge that we owe our
mother on this Sunday.
GIFT MOST DESIRED
It was just a few days before Mother’s Day. A fourth-grade teacher was
asking each boy and girl what his and her Mother wanted most for Mother’s
Day. She came to Eddie who was from a large family. At first he was
hesitant but he finally blurted out: “My mom is the first one up in our house.
She takes care of the baby. Then she feeds Daddy and all of us, helps us get
ready for the school bus. Then she does the dishes and lots of other things.”
The teacher asked: “What do you think your mother wants most?” Quick as
a flash Eddie declared: “To go back to bed. “
Moral of the story: Most mothers would treasure a little household help, a
little free time, and a little rest.
