« Logement » .
Pour valider votre réservation, il vous sera demandé de payer en ligne 225 Euros de frais de dossier .
The student applies on line on the AEU website (Housing office) : http://www.asso-aeu.fr/en/
Please click on the British flag - “Accommodation” - “Apply for Accommodation”.
To validate your application, you will be asked to pay on line a housing administrative fee of 225 Euros.
7) Où puis-je trouver les informations concernant les résidences (formulaire de réservation, prix des
loyers, …) ? Where can I find the information concerning the dorms (registration forms, rent prices…) ?

8) Quand puis-je connaître l’affectation de ma résidence ? When will I know my allocation to a dorm?
La réponse est donnée sous un délai de 8 semaines maximum suivant la demande.
The reply is sent within 8 weeks maximum
9) Pour annuler la réservation, quelle procédure suivre ? To cancel a booking, what do I have to do?
Il suffit d’informer le Service logement par e-mail : [email protected]
Les frais de réservation pourront être remboursés si l’annulation est transmise au Service Logement avant
le 15 juillet pour un séjour débutant en Août/Septembre ou avant le 15 décembre pour un séjour
débutant en Janvier
You just need to let the accommodation office know by email: [email protected]
The booking fees may be reimbursed if the cancellation is sent to the accommodation office before the
15th of July for a stay starting in August-September, or before the 15th of December for a stay starting in
January.
10) Pourquoi le contrat de location est-il établi à partir du 1e août jusqu’au 31 juillet alors que j’arrive après
le 1 août et repart avant le 31 juillet ? Why is the rental contract set from the 1st of August to the 31st
of July since I’ll arrive after the 1st of August and leave before the 31st of July?
La loi française impose aux propriétaires d’établir le contrat de location pour une durée d’un an.
French law requires landlords to set rental contracts for a length of 1 year.
11) Pourquoi dois-je payer la location à partir du 1 août alors que j’arrive mi-août ou début septembre ?
Why do I have to pay the rent starting on August 1 since I arrive mid-August or early September?
Le contrat de location étant établi à partir du 1 août, le loyer est payable à partir du 1 août. Débuter le
contrat à partir du 1er août pour un étudiant arrivant tardivement dans le mois permet de garantir le
logement à cette personne.
The rental contract running from August 1, the rent must be paid starting August 1. Starting the contract
from August 1 for a student arriving late in August enables to secure his/her housing.
12) Si j’arrive en Janvier, le contrat de location sera-t-il établi à partir du 1e août aussi ? If I arrive in January,
will the rental contract start on August 1 as well?
Non. Dans ce cas, le contrat de location sera établi à partir du 1e janvier pour une durée d’un an.
No. In this case, the rental contract will start on January 1 for the length of 1 year.
13) Quelle procédure suivre pour quitter mon logement avant la date d’expiration du contrat de location ?
What do I have to do to leave my dorm before the expiring date of my rental contract?
Il faut avertir le Service Logement ([email protected]) par écrit au minimum 1 mois avant le départ
de la résidence.
You have to write to the accommodation office ([email protected]) at least 1 month before you
leave the dorm.
14) Quels jours puis-je arriver pour retirer la clé de ma chambre ? What days can I arrive to get my room’s
key ?
Les étudiants sont accueillis du lundi au vendredi de 8h30 à 18h. Possibilité de rendez-vous pour
récupérer les clefs le weekend.
Students are received from Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 6 pm. If you arrive on Saturdays or
Sundays, you must contact and inform the housing office : [email protected] before your arrival
15) Où dois-je me rendre en arrivant pour retirer la clé de ma chambre ? Where do I have to go when I
arrive to get my room’s key ?
. Du lundi au vendredi : Au Service Logement de l’AEU, 47 boulevard Vauban, 2é étage pour retirer les
clés de ma chambre et signer le contrat de location.
. Le samedi ou dimanche : contacter [email protected]
. From Monday to Friday : at the accommodation office of the AEU is located at 47 boulevard Vauban, 2nd
floor, you will get your room keys and sign the rental contract.
