GAUTIER,ofJ.the GILBERT (LAUM Université du Maine) – limit text to fit within box ISMA 2014 has brought together the world’s researchers on musical acoustics in areas including instruments physical modelling, experimental techniques for sound or instruments characterisation, analysis and synthesis of sounds, human perception. Two original workshops have been proposed on instrument making : practical methods of instrument building presented by ITEMM (Institut Technologique Européen des Métiers de la Musique) have engendered the meeting between instrument construction and acoustic research. At the Cité de la Musique in Paris have been workshops that combine the history of patrimonial instruments, instrument construction, musical performance, and acoustical science.Two events, a scientific concert by the musicians of Ophonius and a Brief explanation of how the grant was allocated – limit text to fit within box public lecture, have been proposed for effective public dissemination of musical acoustic Three prices have been given to three participants : subjects. -Kurijn Buys 200€ (Open University, Milton Keynes, UK), 1st Poster Prize for innovative scientific research -Augustin Ernoult 200 € (Laboratoire d'Acoustique et de Mécanique, Marseille, France), 2nd Poster Prize for innovative scientific research -Miguel Carvalho 100€ (IST/CTN/ADL et FCSH/UNLL, Lisbon, Portugal), Poster award for scientific dissemination
