Le Sentier Cathare chemine de la Méditerranée aux Pyrénées. Sur
près de 200 km, il offre une grande variété de paysages : lagunes
littorales, coteaux viticoles, garrigues, forêts, gorges et sommets
pyrénéens…
Aguilar, Padern, Quéribus, Peyrepertuse, Puilaurens, Puivert,
Montségur, citadelles du vertige érigées sur d’impressionnants
pitons rocheux jalonnent l’itinéraire et évoquent une page de
l’histoire médiévale méridionale, le catharisme languedocien.
Parcourir le Sentier Cathare, c’est entrer en quête de sens et se
mettre à l’écoute des leçons de l’histoire.
Apres et arides, ces terres mystérieuses se dévoilent peu à peu
accueillantes et chaleureuses à tous ceux qui prennent le temps
de les découvrir.
