State Bank of Mauritius Gets Moody's Rating Upgrade

Moody's Investors Services has raised State Bank of Mauritius' long term foreign currency
deposit rating to Baa1 from Baa2 with a stable outlook, the bank said on Monday.
Nigeria: FCMB Launches Telephone Banking Platform

First City Monument Bank (FCMB) said at the weekend that it has introduced telephone banking
services. This means customers of the bank no longer have to wait to speak with contact centre
consultant to have their banking transactions done, "thus making your transactions faster and
more convenient," it said in a statement.

Bank of India Uganda Limited has re-opened in Uganda bringing to 25 the number of commercial
banks operating in Uganda's growing market. The bank, which boasts of a portfolio of about Ushs
