Brutopia

Funky, off-beat brewpub in Montreal’s “bar scene” district (Rue Crescent and Bishop). 15 minute
walk from McGill.
L'amère à boire

Gastropub with an excellent menu in a lively part of town. 15 minute walk from McGill.
Reservoir

One of the oldest brewpubs in Montreal, good beer, good menu. Approx. 20 minute walk,
Dieu du Ciel

Mont Royal — a.k.a the mountain behind McGill
There are sidewalks/stairs/gravel switchbacks and a couple different summits; easiest
access is if you walk up Peel. Lovely view of the city and very close to campus.

Another great view of the city and there are sometimes free concerts in the chapel

Vieux Port/Old Montreal
Historic Montreal neighbourhood used as early as 1611 for fur trading. Featuring a
Science Centre, Clock Tower, and cobble stones and horse-drawn carriages.
