Plug Style Diverter Valve (PV/BV45)
The Mac Process Plug Style Diverter Valve (PV/BV45) is
completely enclosed and weather-tight and can therefore be used inside or outside. This is the tightest plug
line diverter on the market. It pneumatically or manually
diverts product from either two sources into one or from
one source into two receivers. The diverter incorporates
a 150! rotating internal mechanism with double shaft
seals, a rotor periphery packing seal and flanged connections minimizing product contamination.

Features:
• Manual or automatic actuator: automatic actuator is
pneumatic rack and pinion operator complete with
solenoid valve in NEMA 4 or NEMA 7/9
• 150 lb. ANSI drill pattern flanged connections
• All cast construction and precision machined to exact
tolerances
• Bronze shaft bushings
• Packing gland with three rows of square Teflon®
packing at each end
• End covers machined with shoulder concentric with
bushing bore to insure concentricity of gate inside
body
• Gate which makes it impossible to have two legs
open at one time in the event of mechanical or
electrical failure leaves no chance for contamination
Options:
• Junction Box complete with:
• Limit switch proofing in a variety of makes
and models, NEMA 4 or NEMA 7/9
• Beacon direction indicator
• 150 lb. drilling flanges, plain ends or grooved ends
• Diverters may be completely wired to customer’s
