CAS 2012 Annual Meeting CAS 2012 Annual Meeting Sponsorship
2012 Annual Meeting
Québec City, Québec
June 15 – 18
Société du Centre des congrès de Québec
Canadian Anesthesiologists’ Society (CAS)
The Canadian Anesthesiologists' Society (CAS) is a not-for-profit, voluntary organization, which exists for the benefit of its member anesthesiologists. The Society is governed by a
volunteer Board of Directors. A number of standing committees, task forces and working groups address issues of interest to Canadian anesthesiologists and provide
recommendations to the CAS Board of Directors. CAS Sections, chaired by volunteers, address the following specialties: ambulatory, cardiovascular and thoracic, chronic pain
management, education, neuroanesthesia, obstetrics, pediatrics, peri-operative medicine, regional and acute pain, residents, and anesthesia assistants. There are also a number of
CAS committees, chaired by volunteers, and their responsibilities include: continuing education and professional development, ethics, and research.
CAS 2012 Annual Meeting
The Annual Meeting of the Society attracts speakers and delegates from around the World and provides 2½ days of continuing medical education. Although the target audience is
primarily specialist anesthesiologists (more than 90% of total delegates), the scope and nature of the presentations and programs are useful for family practice anesthesiologists,
anesthesia residents, as well as anesthesia assistants, nurses and allied health professionals. The CAS Annual Meeting is the largest anesthesia meeting in Canada with over 1,000
physicians and other health care professionals attending the scientific sessions at the 2011 CAS Annual Meeting.
CAS 2012 Annual Meeting Sponsorship Program
The CAS 2012 Annual Meeting Sponsorship Program is intended to provide corporate participants with further insight into the field of anesthesiology and opportunities to inform the
CAS membership about new initiatives in product development. The CAS Annual Meeting provides a forum for your company to meet with clients and highlight your commitment to
healthcare, anesthesia research and education. There are two sponsorship program categories:
I)
Corporate Sponsorship Program has three levels: Corporate Leader, Corporate Supporter and Associate Sponsor
Of these three, the CAS Corporate Leader sponsorship package provides participating companies with the highest profile and greatest interaction with members. Offering
up to nine months’ affiliation with CAS, Corporate Leaders enjoy unparalleled visibility to members through publications, collateral materials and the CAS website. They
also benefit from direct contact with delegates and CAS’ most senior volunteers and staff.
II)
Education Sponsorship Program provides sponsors with the opportunity to design and present unaccredited education to the delegates in one of two formats: Satellite
Symposia or Product Theatres.
All Sponsors will be recognized in the Registration and Scientific Programs, Exhibit Guide, as well as on the Website, Signage, Thank You Advertising and CAS Collateral Materials.
Please see a table summarizing sponsorship opportunities and their marketing benefits on the next page.
