1.
Starten zoals op benzine. Geef tijdens het starten nooit gas, anders bestaat er kans op motorschade. (U zou
zich kunnen aanwennen de voet op het rempedaal te houden tijdens het starten); Moderne motoren dienen
ten alle tijden goed te starten zonder gas te geven. Zo niet is er iets mis met de conditie van de motor.
2.
Na het aanslaan van de motor enige seconden wachten tot de motor zich stabiliseert. In deze fase geen gas
geven.
Brandstofkeuzeschakelaar met LPG-niveau-indicatie
De brandstofkeuzeschakelaar kent 2 standen: de LPG-stand en de benzinestand. Indien de brandstofkeuzeschakelaar
op LPG staat, wordt daarop d.m.v. LED's (4x groen en 1x rood) de inhoud van de LPG-tank aangegeven. Bij een volle
tank zijn alle groene LED's aan. Indien alleen de rode LED aan is, dient u te gaan tanken. Rijd nooit uw LPG-tank leeg,
anders bestaat er kans op motorschade!
Overschakelen van benzine naar LPG en omgekeerd ( injectie motoren ).
Met de brandstofkeuzeschakelaar kunt u bepalen of u op LPG of op benzine wilt rijden.
Overschakelen van benzine naar LPG en van LPG naar benzine kan direct gebeuren.
Zowel bij het overschakelen van gas naar benzine als van benzine naar gas, geen gas geven.
Opnieuw starten nadat de motor is afgezet
Gedurende 8 seconden na het afzetten van de motor controleert de computer zichzelf. Dit uit zich doordat de LED’s
gedurende deze tijd blijven branden. Indien mogelijk niet starten gedurende die 8 seconden. Hierna de normale
startprocedure volgen.

Diagnose
Wanneer de lambda-regeling afwijkt, wordt dit aangegeven door middel van een knippercode op de
brandstofkeuzeschakelaar. De volgende knippercodes kunnen voorkomen:
1.
LED('s) gaan met tussenpozen 2x aan-uit
Diagnose:
Het mengsel is te lang arm(eventueel bij een lege LPG-tank). Er wordt automatisch
overgeschakeld op benzine. De schakelaar staat nog wel op de LPG-stand.
Actie:
Brandstofkeuzeschakelaar op benzine zetten. Controleren of tank leeg is, is dit niet het geval
raadpleeg dan uw inbouwstation, dealer of een Prins Business Partners.
2.
LED('s) gaan met tussenpozen 3x aan-uit
Diagnose:
Het mengsel is te lang rijk. Er wordt automatisch overgeschakeld op benzine. De schakelaar
staat nog wel op de LPG-stand.
Actie:
Brandstofkeuzeschakelaar op benzine zetten.
Raadpleeg uw inbouwstation, dealer of een Prins Business Partners.
Na herstart (10 seconden wachten na afzetten motor) kan weer op LPG gereden worden, totdat fout weer optreedt.

Starting
1.
Start as on petrol. Never accelerate during starting, otherwise the engine may be damaged. (You should make
a habit of keeping your foot on the brake pedal while starting). Modern engines should always start correctly
without accelerating. If not, there may be a problem with the condition of the engine.
2.
Wait several seconds after the engine fires for the engine to stabilise. Do not accelerate during this phase.
Fuel selector switch with LPG level indication
The fuel selector switch has 2 positions: the LPG position and the petrol position. If switched to the LPG position, the
LPG level in the tank is indicated on the fuel selector switch by LED’s (4x green and 1x red). If the tank is filled, all
green LED’s are illuminated. If only the red LED is illuminated, fill up the tank. Make sure the LPG tank is never empty
to prevent engine damage!
Switching from petrol to LPG and reverse (injection engines)
With the fuel selector switch you can change from driving on petrol or LPG.
Switching from petrol to LPG and reverse can de done directly.
Do not accelerate during switching from LPG position to petrol position ,as well as from petrol position to LPG position.
Restarting after the engine is switched off
During 8 seconds after the engine is switched off, the LPG computer resets automatically. After those 8 seconds, the
LED’s on the fuel selector switch are briefly illuminated. If possible, do not start the engine during those 8 seconds.
Follow the starting procedure after the reset time.

Diagnosis
Flash codes on the fuel selector switch indicate when the Lambda control system is out of range.
The following flash codes may appear:
1.
LEDs flash with intervals 2x per second
Diagnosis:
The air/fuel ratio is too lean (the LPG tank may be empty). The system automatically switches
over to petrol. The switch position on the fuel selector switch remains on LPG.
Action:
Put the switch in the petrol position. If necessary, fill the LPG tank and switch back to LPG. If
flash codes return, consult your assembly station, dealer or a Prins Business Partner.
2.
LEDs flash with intervals 3x per second
Diagnosis:
The air/fuel ratio is much too rich. The system automatically switches over to petrol. The
switch position on the fuel selector switch remains on LPG.
Action:
Put the switch on the petrol position.
Consult your assembly station, dealer or a Prins Business Partner.
Starting again (wait for 10 seconds after having switched off the engine) you can drive on LPG again, until the
malfunction occurs again.

Démarrage
1.
Démarrer comme à l'essence. Ne jamais accélérer pendant le démarrage, pour éviter d’endommager le
moteur. (Prenez l’habitude de garder le pied sur le frein pendant le démarrage) ; Des moteurs modernes
doivent toujours bien démarrer sans accélération. Sinon, il y a un problème avec la condition du moteur.
2.
Attendre quelques secondes la stabilisation du moteur et rouler normalement. Ne pas accélérer dans cette
phase.
Le sélecteur de carburant avec indication du niveau de GPL
Le sélecteur de carburant a 2 positions: la position GPL et la position essence. Lorsque le sélecteur est en position
GPL, des LED indiquent le niveau de GPL dans le réservoir (4x vertes et 1x rouge). Lorsque le réservoir est plein,
toutes les LED vertes sont allumées.
Si seule la LED rouge est allumée, il convient de se ravitailler. Ne jamais rouler jusqu’à l’épuisement complet du
réservoir de GPL, pour éviter des dommages au moteur.
Passage d’essence à GPL et inversement (moteurs avec injection)
Le sélecteur de carburant permet de choisir entre la conduite au GPL et à l’essence.
Pour le passage d'un carburant à l'autre, placer le sélecteur de carburant directement sur la position voulue. Ne pas
accélérer pendant le passage d'un carburant à l'autre.
Nouveau démarrage après la coupure du contact
Pendant 8 secondes après la coupure du contact, le microprocesseur s’autocontrôle automatiquement. Pendant ce
temps, les LED sur le sélecteur de carburant restent allumées. Si possible, ne pas démarrer pendant ces 8
secondes. Après cela, suivre la procédure de démarrage normale.

Diagnostic
Toute anomalie de régulation lambda est indiquée par le clignotement des LED sur le sélecteur de carburant. Les
codes clignotants suivants peuvent apparaître:
1.
Les LED clignotent 2 fois, toutes les 2 secondes
Diagnostic:
Le mélange est trop pauvre (éventuellement, le réservoir GPL est vide). Le passage à
l'essence se fera automatiquement. Le sélecteur est bien encore en position GPL.
Action:
Basculer le sélecteur sur la position essence. Vérifier si le réservoir est vide, sinon,
consulter la station d’encastrement, le concessionnaire ou un des Business Partners Prins.
2.
Les LED clignotent 3 fois, toutes les 2 secondes
Diagnostic:
Le mélange est trop riche. Le passage à l'essence se fera automatiquement. Le sélecteur
est bien encore en position GPL.
Action:
Basculer le sélecteur sur la position essence. Consulter la station d’encastrement, le
concessionnaire ou un des Business Partners Prins.
Après le redémarrage (attendez 10 secondes après la coupure de contact) vous pouvez rouler de nouveau au GPL,
jusqu’à ce que le défaut se manifeste de nouveau.

Accensione
1) Accendere a benzina. Mai dare gas durante l’avvio, altrimenti il motore potrebbe subire danni (dovreste
abituarvi a tenere il piede sul pedale del freno mentre mettete in moto). I motori moderni dovrebbero sempre
avviarsi correttamente senza accelerare. Se ciò non avviene, ci potrebbe essere un problema con le condizioni del
motore.
2) Attendere diversi secondi dopo che il motore è in moto, in modo da farlo stabilizzare. Non accelerate durante
questa fase.
Commutatore di carburante con indicatore del livello GPL.
Il selettore ha due posizioni: la posizione GPL e quella a benzina. Se posizionato sulla posizione GPL, il livello del
serbatoio è indicato sul selettore mediante LED (4 verdi ed 1 rosso). Se il serbatoio è pieno, tutti i LED verdi sono
illuminati. Se solo il LED rosso è illuminato, fare rifornimento. Assicurarsi che il serbatoio non sia mai vuoto per
prevenire danni al motore!
Cambiare da benzina a GPL e viceversa (motori ad iniezione).
Con il commutatore potete scegliere tra la guida a benzina o a GPL.
Cambiare da benzina a GPL e viceversa può essere fatto direttamente.
Non accelerate mentre cambiate sia da GPL a benzina, che da benzina a GPL.
Riavviare dopo lo spegnimento del motore.
Durante gli 8 secondo dopo che il motore è spento, la centralina del GPL si riprogramma automaticamente. Dopo
questi 8 secondi, i LED sul selettore di carburante sono brevemente illuminati. Se possibile, non avviate il motore
durante questi 8 secondi. Seguire la procedura di messa in moto dopo il tempo di riprogrammazione.

Diagnosi
Codici lampeggianti sul commutatore indicano quando il sistema di controllo Lamba è fuori portata.
I seguenti codici lampeggianti possono apparire:
1.
Lampeggio dei Led con intervalli 2 volte al secondo
Diagnosi: La miscela di aria/carburante è troppo magra(il serbatoio GPL può essere vuoto). Il sistema
automaticamente cambia su benzina.La posizione sul selettore di carburante rimane su GPL.
Azione: Commutare nella posizione a benzina. Se necessario, riempire il serbatoio di GPL e cambiare
nuovamente a GPL. Se riprende a lampeggiare, consultate l’officina di montaggio o il rivenditore.
2.
Lampeggio dei Led con intervalli 3 volte al secondo
Diagnosi: La miscela di aria/carburante è troppo ricca. Il sistema automaticamente cambia a benzina.
La posizione del selettore di carburante rimane su GPL.
Azione: Spostare l’interruttore nella posizione a benzina. Consultate l’officina di montaggio o il rivenditore.
Ripartire (aspettate per 10 secondi dopo aver spento il motore) potete guidare a GPL di nuovo, fino a quando il
malfunzionamento compare di nuovo.
