PRESS RELEASE
PROVENCE WINES
AT VINEXPO BORDEAUX 2015
From June 14th to the 18th, Provence will be represented at Vinexpo Bordeaux 2015 by more than 40
companies exhibiting at the fair and 30 at the dedicated Provence Pavilion in Hall 1 DE48 & E46.
During the fair, a variety of activities will take place at the Provence Pavilion:
Provence Free Tasting Area – June 14th to 18th (Hall 1 DE48-01)
Our popular free tasting area remains at the heart of the Provence Pavilion. Dedicated to wine
professionals, this area will showcase more than 70 cuvées, with a spotlight on the region’s iconic
rosé wines - displaying their complexity and diversity.
The cuvées will be organized by price category to make research easier for visitors.
Provence Masterclass Rosé, a global trend! – June 17th, 3:30 to 5pm (Hall 2 Tasting Lab 1)
The region’s Rosé Wine Experimentation & Research Centre and Rosé Wine Global Economics
Observatory will reveal the latest global rosé market and production trends during an informative
masterclass. Five rosés will be tasted during the masterclass, forming the centrepiece for animated
discussion among the 80 attendees.
‘The Blend’ Night – June 16th, 10pm (Hangar 14 in Bordeaux)
Synonymous with quality and the art of living, Provence Wines makes an ideal partner for The Blend
Night on June 16th.
New in 2015!
New to the Provence Free Tasting Area this year is our photo booth! The photo booth will serve as a
unique way for visitors to capture their Vinexpo memories and take home a souvenir of their visit to
the Provence stand!
Since January 2004, the Provence Wines Council has grouped together 600 wine producers and negociants from
the Côtes de Provence, Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence and Coteaux Varois en Provence appellations. Its members
represent 96% of the total production of wine in Provence. One of the CIVP’s key missions is to communicate
and promote the wines from these three appellations, at home and abroad.
