et munitions et des materiels de guerre.
Resolution adoptee par l'Assemblee, le 24 septembre 1927 (matin)
sur la proposition de la troisieme Commission.
L'Assemblee,
Ayant pris connaissance du rapport de la Commission speciale creee par le
Conseil en vue d'etudier un projet de convention sur le controle de la fabrication
privee et la publicite des fabrications d'armes et munitions et des materiels de guerre;
Affirmant a nouveau l'importance qu'elle attache a l'etablissement d'une
convention qui permettrait de mettre sur le pied d'egalite les pays non producteurs
et les pays producteurs, ainsi qu'il resuite de la declaration qui figure a l'Acte final
dela Conference surle controle du commerce international des armes et munitions
et des materiels de guerre;
Convaincue que l'etablissement d'une convention sur le controle de la fabrication privee et la publicite des fabrications d'armes et munitions et des materiels
de guerre est de la plus haute importance pour l'entree en vigueur de la Convention
sur le commerce international,
Prie le Conseil de se faire l'interprete de ses sentiments aupres de la Commission
speciale, afin que celle-ci aboutisse a un texte unique qui permette au Conseil de
convoquer une conference internationale le plus rapidement possible.

of Arms and Ammunition and Implements of War.
Resolution adopted by the Assembly on September 24th, 1927 (morning).
(Adopted on the proposal of the Third Committee.)
The Assembly,
Having noted the report of the Special Committee appointed by the Council
to draft a Convention on the supervision of the private manufacture and the
publicity regarding the manufacture of arms and ammunition and of implements
of war;
Reaffirming the importance it attaches to the establishment of a Convention
which would enable non-producing and producing countries to be placed on an equal
footing, as contemplated in the declaration embodied in the Final Act of the
Conference for the Supervision of the International Trade in Arms and Ammunition
and in Implements of War;
Convinced that the establishment of a Convention for the supervision of
private manufacture and the publicity regarding manufacture is of the highest
importance for the putting into force of the Convention on the International Trade;
Requests the Council to convey its views to the Special Committee, in order
that the latter may agree upon a single text which will enable the Council to convene
an international Conference as speedily as possible.
